As I was showering at Haley's home, my father called and demanded me to come home. I knew he would, he wants me back in the cage and out away, I am not shocked at his anger as well, I'm sure he just figured out the capo is here in America. Capo will check on everything the clubs, stations, underground, casinos, hotels, and more. My father usually has files full of important documents for the mafia, one thing for sure is that he wasn't stupid enough to put it in his home computer. The computer is connected to the smart home.

It was my idea for him not to connect to the smart home. He was about to at first.

I arrived home with a water proof bag that I kept my stuff in. Haley gave it to me when I was younger, she had figured out that my father locks me outside in the cold rain as punishment sometimes. The cage, luckily, has a cover over it, but the ground still becomes damp. I will sit on a plastic flooring so my bottom wouldn't be wet.

My father waited for me by the door and he grabbed my hair. I screamed in protest.

"You think you can leave the fucking house all day without my permission?!" He yelled and yanked me outside. I tripped and he yanked me up, my scalp burned, I begged for him to let go but he wouldn't. I held his wrist to reduce his pulling to a minimum.  He opened the huge cage but didn't throw me in.

"F-father-

"Take. It. Off." I knew what he wanted, but I didn't want to do it. It's freezing out here and I will get sick.

"Pl-please-

"Now!" He yelled and smacked me. I fell and cried as I held my stinging cheek, he held his hips and waited for me. I started to stand and I started stripping from my clothes, I cried. This wasn't the first and it definitely won't be the last.

He took my pants and shirt from me.

"You will stay here for a week, get comfortable." He said and slammed the cage door shut. I screamed for him and banged on the cage door as he pulled out a huge lock. This is the fifth time he has used it, but knowing I will be locked in for a week was terrifying. I have no clothes, food, or water. I'm cramped in this little space with Benny.

I'm guessing Benny bit my father again, because Benny is limping and in the cage. I sat on the plastic flooring and hugged Benny to me as he whimpered at his sore front leg. Benny is a good boy, he doesn't deserve that pain my father inflicts upon him. Benny's job is to protect, when Benny sees my father hit my mother he instantly attacks, it's his job.

I cried with the whimpering Benny.

After three hours of cuddling with Benny, Benny had to pee. We've been over this many times, I lifted the plastic flooring to reveal the cage bottom. He peed and pooped which stunk so bad, he then let me put it back down and I cringed at the smell.

I crawled to the cage door to take in some deep breaths.

I wanted to shift the cage over some but it's somehow nailed down. I don't understand how though.

The next morning came quickly and I smelled breakfast. My stomach growled and Benny barked and whimpered, I believe he hasn't ate since I fed him earlier yesterday, he is starting to look at me like I am food.

I laid against Benny until we both perked up at the sound of the back doors opening. I hurried with Benny to crawl to the door, I seen my mother with Sugar.

"Come on, Benny." She opened the cage door and let Benny out. He looked at me and whimpered, my eyes watered but I nodded and kissed the top of his head. He slowly walked out of the cage door and my mom shut it back without putting the huge lock on. I cheered and waited a few minutes before opening the cage door and finding somewhere to relieve myself.
