The Country

Roman-

I watched the camera every waking moment, the drone just stayed on the balcony. I observed my amore unconscious on the ground for a fucking hour, no one came to help her. I broke my pen at the thought of her feeling alone and helpless, an hour and twenty minutes later she finally got up. She sat up and cried, she didn't move from that spot, she cried her heart out and I wiped my tears from her pain.

Spies moved in, I'm attacking the house, I don't care anymore. The spies will be around Mag and when everyone least expects it, they'll grab her and go. This plan has to work, I've suffered enough. My family and hers came down, I have the help of the American mafia and the Ricci's mafia. This is all going to be over. I'm not dealing with this shit anymore.

I dressed myself and watched Amore go into a room and shut the door. I hated that I couldn't see her for a few minutes. I got in the suv and Marcelo drove off, he didn't say anything, I didn't say anything to him. I watched my fiancé the entire time when she came out of the room and sat in the bed. She just stared off in space then rubbed her stomach. I smiled knowing she was alright.

After three hours we arrived a block from the house. The guards had on cameras as they fake guarded and walked around the house. I sent men in and they killed the guards at the gate, they opened it and I sent men onto the roof, this is a silent attack. All of them were very stealthy, if one fucks up this could all end in bloodshed.

Amore was sleeping so I left the camera alone and Marcelo had the drone finally move. We looked at the roof and seen ten men, my men came up the steps and snuck behind them. On cue they grabbed and slit the throats of the men, they carefully laid them on the ground. One grabbed the walkie talkie and said everything was clear.

It was time to move down.

Starting at the top was easier, there are more guards at the bottom. Cameras were hacked into, one of my men went in and killed the man watching the cameras.

Everything was a go.

Magnolia-

I woke up to gun shots, I hurried to sit up, I knew something was going on. I ignored the pain and ran to the window, I looked at a tiny drone on the other side of the house. I opened the balcony door and looked closer at it. It went to turn to look at more guards getting shot at...

Roman's men.

I noticed from the symbol on their clothes.

My eyes watered at the thought of my fiancé.

Marcelo is the new leader...

He came for me.

I grabbed the sheets from the bed and started tying them together. I grabbed clothes and tied them to the balcony.

I'm not going back to the mansion if Roman isn't there. I'm leaving the city...the state, with the money he left for me. This is the perfect distraction for me to get away.

I went into the bathroom and found a razor, I broke the razor apart until I got the blade out. I talked myself through it before I held it to my shoulder. I felt it around my collarbone, I sliced as deep as I could and screamed. I threw it and used a q-tip to fish it out, I was screaming still. I put the tracker on the counter and smashed it with the soap dispenser.

I don't want to be found when I leave, I want to be free with me and my baby. I will protect it and no one will know, the mafia is good at finding people, but I am very hellbent on not being fucking found. I know what to do, I was born into this, I know where I'm going and where I will stay. It's in the country and there is nothing but land for miles, I know my baby will love it, it's perfect.
