Melody Taylor
Melody rubbed her hands down her gown and sighed. She was not feeling tonight, she was on her cycle and the cramps were kicking her ass.
"Jesus Christ." She sighed.
She grabbed some painkillers and took a few before washing it down with some water. She sprayed some perfume on herself before heading out the door.
"Finally, I thought I was going to have to run in there and get you." Chloe said.
Melody rolled her eyes as she got into the backseat of the car.
"Oh shut up, it feels like my uterus is going to fall out." Melody scuffed.
"Thank you for still deciding to come." Chloe smiled.
"Either this party or over time with fucking files." She said.
Chloe smiled and pecked her cheek before sitting back.
"Are you even going to buy anything?" Melody asked.
"Hmmmm, maybe not." Chloe laughed.
"Damn shame." Melody mumbled.
They listened to music before they reached the venue, there was paparazzi everywhere and some of the most famous people. Melody didn't know that celebrities were into photography, Chloe grabbed her hand and guided her through the red carpet.
She attended multiple events with Chloe so she was use to the photos and stares, she posed alongside Chloe before they entered the building.
"Drink?"
"Yes." Chloe smiled.
"No thank you." Melody said scanning the crowd.
"Go mingle." Chloe nudged.
"Girl please, I am a plus one for a reason." Melody scuffed.
Chloe rolled her eyes.
"You're my best friend." Chloe scuffed.
"Ok." Melody sighed.
"Go." Chloe nudged her.
Melody huffed before walking away, she made her way to the bar and slightly leaned over it.
"Hey beautiful, what can I get for you?"
"Can I get a strawberry daquiri, virgin." She said.
He winked at her and walked away, she turned around and looked over the crowd.
"Well, well, well."
She looked up at the voice and instantly rolled her eyes.
"Mingi." She said.
"Melody." He smiled.
They locked eyes with one another before hearing someone clear their throat.
