Song Mingi
Mingi winced as he opened his eyes as bright lights stung them. He blinked multiple times before he sat up, he looked around and realized he was in the hospital.
"Mingi." Chloe said.
"Chloe? Where's Melody?" He asked in a panic.
Chloe teared up before shaking San awake. San rubbed his eyes and looked at Mingi who was getting out of the bed.
"Woah you shouldn't be up, you took a tumble two days ago." San said standing.
"I have to find Melody." He said.
"Police are doing everything they can Mingi. They'll find her." San said.
"Fuck that, that son of a bitch Dominic has her. I know he fucking does." He said through gritted teeth.
San gave Chloe a look causing Mingi to scrunch his eyes.
"What is it?" He asked.
"They can't find Dominic...they checked all of his properties and nothing." Chloe said.
Mingi felt his heart break as his chest heaved up and down. He bit his lip so hard he could taste blood.
"The police are still doing a search." San said.
He looked at his feet drowning them out. He failed...for the first time in a long time he felt like a failure. He was supposed to protect her and their son.
He clinched his jaw before standing again.
"Get the doctor, I have to get out of here." Mingi mumbled.
San sighed and nodded before leaving the room. He heard a sniff come from Chloe and looked at her.
"You ok?" He asked.
She shook her head.
"She must be terrified." She mumbled.
Mingi bit his lip and let out a breath, he needed to get home. San returned with the doctor causing Mingi to sit up.
The doctor began explaining his condition before he was allowed to leave. Falling down a flight of stairs didn't cause permanent damage but he was bruised up.
He sat in the back seat of Sans car and fiddled with his fingers. Did she eat today? Was she at least comfortable? Did the baby kick today? They arrived at his home to see another car in his driveway.
"Hello Mr.Song I am Detective Park, I'm in charge of your girl friends case." Mr.Park extended his hand.
Mingi looked at it before shaking it.
"Any information?" Mingi asked.
"Not yet, I have a few questions for you." He said.
"Ok." Mingi nodded.
"Let's go inside." San said unlocking the door.
