Melody Taylor

Melody wiped her mouth as she sat up straight. She sighed as she breathed heavily against the wall. Fuck was she nauseous, she heard a knock on the door and quickly stood up and flushed the toilet.

"Yeah." She said as she began to wash her hands.

"You ok Cupcake?" Mingi asked.

Melody bit her lip nervously as she dried her hands. She opened the door to see a worried Mingi.

"Yeah, I think it was the takeout from yesterday." She said.

Mingi raised a brow and nodded clinching his jaw.

"So that's the excuse we're going with?" He asked.

"Mingi what are you talking about?" She asked opening her closet.

He scuffed as she looked through it.

"Don't act dumb Melody, you're sick. Nauseous and your tits are growing and don't tell me otherwise because I know them titties like the back of my hand." He said.

She chuckled and shook her head.

"You haven't had your period this past month and just the other day I caught you eating banana peppers with fucking fudge." He snapped.

Melody looked at him in shocked, he knew her body better than she did. She sighed before sitting on the bed, she placed her hands on her knees as she looked at her fresh pedicure.

"I'm pregnant." She said.

"No fucking shit, you're what six weeks now?" He asked folding his arms.

She looked at him in shock.

"See Melody, one thing I am not is stupid. I knew you were pregnant before you did, that time you smelled chocolate before I could even pull the box out gave it away. Why didn't you tell me? Did you have the first appointment?" He asked.

Melody placed her head in her hands and sighed.

"I did and I didn't tell you because I didn't know what your views were on children. We never had that conversation." She said.

He placed his hands on his hips and rolled his eyes. He so sassy Melody thought.

"It doesn't matter if we never had that conversation. You took away a special from me, you went to that appointment without me and I bet you went with Chloe big head ass." He said.

Melody chuckled before covering it with a cough.

"I'm glad you think this funny." He scuffed.

"I'm sorry, and you're right it isn't funny. I should've told you sooner and I'm sorry I took away that special moment from you." She said standing.

"Look I have to go to work, I'll see you later." He said walking away.

Melody sighed in defeat before getting dressed. As she was walking out the door her phone began to ring.

"Hello." She said as she headed to her car.

"You have a collect call from Dominic, would you like to accept."

Melody smirked as she got into her car.

"I accept." She said pulling off.

"Hello." Dominic said.

"To what do I owe you this pleasure?" She asked.

"Mel, I need your help. I need a good ass lawyer." He said.
