Melody Taylor

Melody unbuckled her seat belt before glancing at Mingi. His tongue rested in his inner mouth as he looked at her home.

"Nice place." He said.

"Mhm, thanks." She said getting out the car.

"Wait." He chuckled getting out as well.

"Do not dare to ask to come in." She said pointing her finger at him.

"I wasn't going to ask that." He chuckled.

"What is it? My stomach hurt and I am ready to get out this dress." She said annoyed.

"Can I get your number?" He asked.

Melody looked at him up and down before turning on her heels.

"So is that a no?" He asked.

She waved him off as she continued inside her home. She got unready and immediately went to sleep.

The next day.

She got out of bed and sighed before looking at the ceiling. After seeing Dominic she had a variety of emotions. She had so much to say but nothing came out, she rubbed her hands down her face before getting ready for work.

She made it to her office before letting out a breath. She rubbed her temples as she heard a knock on the door.

"What is it?" She asked.

Jongho opened the door before coming further into her office. She looked at him as he passed her a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, a Dominic is here. I told him he needed an appointment but he insisted." He said.

Melody looked at him and sighed, it was too early for this shit.

"Send him in." She said sitting back.

Jongho nodded before quickly exiting her office. She stood up and looked at the view before taking a sip of her coffee.

"I see you got that law firm." Dominic spoke from behind her.

She looked over her shoulder at him and scuffed.

"Would've had it sooner." She said locking eyes with him.

He chuckled before taking a seat.

"About that, I want to apologize." He said.

"For which part? Where you stole my money? The cheating? Or the slap?" She asked.

Dominic looked at her and sighed before looking away.

"Look you can keep your sorry ass apology. What is that you want?" She asked placing her mug down.

He sighed.

"Can we at least talk about it, I am not an evil person Mel." He said.

"I don't care, I've moved on and so have you so there is no point of you being here." She said folding her arms.
