Melody Taylor

Melody sighed placing her head down, something about this case just wasn't adding up. She's been sitting here for over an hour discussing every detail with her client.

"Mr.Brown are you sure you're not leaving any other details out?" She asked.

"I'm positive." He said.

"I'm going to have to drop this case...there is no way I can prove innocence when everything is pointing to you being guilty." She sighed.

"Please...I am desperate." He said.

"Then tell me the truth...I need every thing." She said.

She watched as he nervously bit his lip before rubbing his temples.

"Throughout all these files what is this JT LLC?" She asked.

"I'm not one hundred percent sure but when I was doing my own investigation...I googled it. The only person who came up was her." He said placing his phone in front of her.

She looked at the picture seeing Dominic's wife. She placed the phone down and looked at Mr.Brown.

"I'll do more digging Mr.Brown...you might be innocent after all." She said.

"Thank god." He sighed.

"I'll keep in contact but for the meantime. Stay safe, I have a feeling that the more I dig...the worse that'll come." She said standing.

He stood and shook her hand before she gathered his cases files and locked up her office as they began heading out.

"Do you think that Jenny person has something to do with all this?" He asked as she locked the main door of her law firm.

"It's possible, but I'll have to do more digging." She said placing her keys in her purse.

"Also Ms.Taylor, thank you for believing in me." He said.

She smiled as a car slowly approached them. She looked toward the car to see a back window slowly roll down and an arm sticking out aiming a gun. Her eyes widen as gunshots went off, she quickly dropped to the ground covering her ears.

"Mr.Brown? MR.BROWN?!" She yelled.

Her hands shook in fear as she watched him cough up blood. She placed her hands on his stomach as she frantically looked around.

"SOMEBODY HELP! SOMEBODY CALL 911!" She yelled.

Mr.Brown grabbed her hand making her look at him.

"It's in my cabinet...under my c-cabinet." He said.

"Mr.Brown save your breath." She sniffed.

She felt herself get pulled back as paramedics rushed to his aid. Everything was a blur...she was scared she could barely answer any of the questions the police were asking.

After answering as much as she could she quickly made her way to the hospital. Still in her bloody clothes and in distress.
