Song Mingi
San groaned as Mingi continued dragging him to the pediatric ward. He stopped at his son's window and smiled. Since today Melody was getting discharge and she needed to get dress they decided to visit MJ.
"Look don't he look like he's getting bigger?" Mingi asked.
San looked at MJ and nodded.
"He does actually, but Mingi...how are you really holding up?" San asked.
Mingi kept his eyes focused on MJ.
"Now that Melody is back...I'm ok. I don't think I'll ever be the same after this though." Mingi said.
"No one is expecting you to be the same, you are the head of your family." San said.
"Yeah, right now though all I'm focused on is Melody and MJ. If they are ok then so am I." He said.
San nodded as he looked at MJ.
"He looks like an alien." San said.
"I said that, why do they come out looking weird." Mingi laughed.
San smiled, it was good to hear him laugh. If talking about a baby would put a smile on his face then that's what he'll do.
"A cute alien though not them other ones." San said.
Mingi laughed, they stayed in the pediatric ward for a few more minutes before going to Melody's room.
"Ready?" Mingi asked.
Melody nodded and smiled as he grabbed her hand. They stopped by the pediatric ward to say there good byes to MJ before leaving the hospital.
Once they reached the house, Mingi helped Melody out of the car. He smiled seeing everyone in front of the house.
"Welcome home." Mr.Song said.
Melody smiled embracing his father into a tight hug.
"Thank you, all of you for being here." Melody said.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world." Mrs.Song smiled.
Mingi smiled as they entered the house, Melody squeezed his hand causing him to look at her.
"What's wrong?" He whispered.
She looked at him and smiled.
"It's good to be home." She said.
He smiled and caressed her face.
"Can I-"
"Yes." She said.
"You didn't even let me finish." He chuckled.
"Whatever it is yes." She giggled.
He smiled placing his lips on hers, and there it was fireworks. After Two weeks and six days without her lips it felt amazing to kiss her again.
She wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss. He didn't care that his parents and friends were around, he needed this moment. They needed this moment because when they kiss the world didn't exist.
"I love you." He said against her lips.
"I love you too." She smiled.
"I love y'all too." San said fake crying.
"Right w-we need love too." Chloe sniffed.
Mingi rolled his eyes and mushed San away.
"Shut up." He laughed.
