Melody Taylor
Melody's body shivered as the doctor began the ultra sound. She wanted to find out how far along she was. She still needed to figure out where Mingi's head was when it came to kids.
"Melody calm down." Chloe said squeezing her hand.
"I'm calm, it's just cold." She sighed.
"From the size of the fetus, I would say you're roughly four weeks." He said.
Melody nodded as he handed her a tissue to wipe her stomach.
"Thank you." She said wiping her stomach.
"Now I'm going to set you up with the best OBGYN in New York. I'm going to prescribe you prenatal vitamins and we're going to schedule you for your next appointment." He said.
Melody nodded as he walked away.
"I can't believe I'm going to be a god mother." Chloe squealed.
Melody laughed as she placed her hands on her stomach.
"So assuming since Mingi isn't here. He still doesn't know?" Chloe asked.
"No, I'll tell him after dinner with his parents tonight." She said.
Chloe nodded before turning on the T.V.
"Police raided multiple properties of Multi-Millionaire Dominic Thomas. Police have him and his wife Jenny Thomas in custody as we speak. We are unsure of the charges but it isn't looking too good."
Melody couldn't help but to smile.
"Damn, I wonder what the fuck he do." Chloe said.
"Who knows." Melody shrugged.
Chloe squinted at her and raised her brow.
"It was you wasn't it?" Chloe asked.
"Client confidentiality." Melody said.
Chloe smiled and nodded as the doctor returned. He gave her a prescription before she was able to make her next appointment.
"I can't believe my bestie is having a baby. Oh my gosh I hope it's a girl, if it's a girl we should name her Patience." Chloe said.
Melody laughed and shook her head as they walked out of the hospital. Chloe helped her into the car causing her to roll her eyes.
"Are you sure you can drive Mel-"
"Chloe I'm pregnant not handicapped." Melody laughed.
"Ok, ok, love you." She said.
Melody waved before pulling off, she felt her phone vibrate before seeing it was Mingi.
"Hey baby." She said.
"Hey, are you on your way?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just left the house." She lied.
"Ok, let me know when you're outside." He said.
"Alright." She said.
She smiled before hanging up. Once she reached his house she stepped out of the car and pulled her phone out.
Before she could even dial his number he was already opening the door.
"Oh I missed you." He embraced her in a hug.
"I was only gone for a few hours." She giggled.
"It was long." He mumbled pecking her neck.
She erupted into laughter as he blew raspberries.
