Melody Taylor

Melody fixed her dress and sighed, being 3 months pregnant really put a shame to her wardrobe. It's been about two days since she found out Dominic was released from prison, and she needed to know how.

Mingi scuffed as he shook his head, he wasn't too happy with her doing another investigation. He's been giving her the cold shoulder since yesterday.

"I don't see why the fuck you need to put yourself and our baby in danger for some shit you already solved." He scuffed.

Melody rolled her eyes.

"You wouldn't get it." She said.

"Yeah I wouldn't because if it was me I would sit my ass back and don't go poking the fucking bear." He snapped.

Melody sighed and stood up.

"I am a lawyer Mingi what do you-"

"Exactly a lawyer not a god damn detective." He said.

Melody sighed and bit her lip.

"You proved Mr.Browns innocence, what else is there that you need to do?" He asked.

Melody fiddled with her fingers and looked away. He was right, she didn't need to poke the bear but she would do anything to keep her mind off of the elephant in the room...her pregnancy.

"What is going on with you? Ever since I found out about our little bean you haven't been yourself." He said.

Melody felt tears blur her vision.

"I'm sorry, I'm not as so excited about this pregnancy." She sniffed.

Mingi kneeled in front of her and placed his hands on her knees.

"Why? What's going on? Talk to me." He said.

"I just feel like everything is moving so fast we've known one another for a year and a half and we're already moved in with one another and pregnant. I just feel like I don't want you to do this stuff just because I'm pregnant." She sighed.

Mingi looked at her and squeezed her hand.

"Mel, pregnant or not I want you here. I want to be with you for you not because you're pregnant. I love you because you're you, that dominant power house attorney." He said caressing her face.

Melody looked at him and tucked her lip in.

"You really mean that?" She asked.

"Of course." He said.

Melody smiled as he placed kisses all over her face.

"Now let me help you put your shoes on, we don't want to be late for dinner." He smiled.

Melody smiled as he slipped her shoes onto her feet. He helped her up before they walked out of his house hand in hand.

"Are you nervous?" Melody asked as he got into the drivers side.

"A little, I'm pretty sure they'll be happy." He said.

"I hope so." She said.

He smiled placing his hand on her stomach before pulling off. The drive to his parent's house wasn't long, Mingi squeezed her hand as he knocked on the door.

"Mingi." Mrs.Song smiled.

She embraced him in a hug.
