Song Mingi

Mingi sighed as he stepped out of the shower. He barely knew Melody yet he ran to her aid, he shook his head as he dried his hair with a towel.

He heard a knock on his door and groaned. He opened it to see Jenny standing there.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"No, what is it that you want?" He asked.

"Things shouldn't have ended the way that they did." She said fiddling with her fingers.

"Ok and?" He asked.

"And I wanted to apologize for the things-"

"Look Jenny apology accepted now is that all? I have work to do." He asked annoyed.

"No, I need your help..." She sighed.

He looked at her and chuckled.

"My help is crazy." He scuffed.

"Look are you going to help me or not? I'm in trouble...for something I had nothing to do with." She asked.

He raised a brow before stepping aside, once she made it in he closed the door and faced her.

"So what is it?" He asked.

"It's Dominic, he's not the man everyone thinks he is." She said.

"No shit." He scuffed folding his arms.

"I need you to hold this...if anything was to happen to me. Take this to the police." She said handing him a hard drive.

"This is a big ass hard drive." He said.

"It has a lot of evidence, Dominic is cutting loose ends. He's become unpredictable these days...just keep it safe." She said fiddling with her fingers.

He looked at her and honestly felt bad.

"Why not run? You could easily get away from him and all of this." He asked.

"I have to go, thanks." She said.

He watched as she left and sighed before placing the hard drive somewhere safe.

Melody Taylor

Melody sighed as rubbed her temples, she's been couped up in her office for hours. She checked the time and noticed it was 6 pm and placed her files in a safe under her desk.

"JongHo, we can close out today." She said scratching her head.

"Ok, let's leave together." He said.

She nodded gathering her things, she locked arms with him as they walked out the back entrance of her firm.

"Today wasn't that bad." He said.

"Just long." She mumbled.

"This case is dangerous though Mel, let's not do too much investigating . Promise me we'll just gather evidence."

"I promise." She smiled.

What she found on that hard drive was video of a gun trade, it was no face so it was useless.

"Mel."

She looked up and scrunched her face up seeing Dominic.
