Melody rubbed her hands through her hair as she sipped on her wine. It was the weekend and her she was sitting here doing absolutely nothing.
She looked at her phone and noticed it was 7:30, maybe she should entertain Mingi's proposal.
She felt her phone vibrate and noticed it was James. She rolled her eyes, he must wanted his dick wet.
"Hello." She said.
"Hey, what are you doing?" He asked.
"Getting dressed." She said getting up.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"What is it that you want James?" She asked.
"Damn Mel, I can't call to check up on you?" He chuckled.
"No James just get straight to the point." She scuffed.
"So I've been seeing someone and I think-"
"Ok that's great, it was fun while it lasted right?" She asked.
The line grew silent.
"T-that's it, no fight?" He asked.
"Fight for what? We had sex, we ain't have a relationship James. I'm happy you found someone who could give you what you want." She said.
"Wow, ok." He said hanging up.
"Wow ok, the fuck." She scuffed.
He thought she was supposed to be sad and begging for his attention when that would never happen. She sighed before looking at the time.
"Fuck it." She mumbled.
She began getting ready for the date, she didn't know what it meant or what would be next. She did know she was going to humble him, because he was just too cocky.
She felt her phone vibrate and noticed it was Chloe.
"Hey Chloe." She smiled.
"Bitch what the fuck are you doing? You look cute." She said.
"Thanks I have a date." Melody said.
"With who? JAMES?" She asked.
"Girl no, Mingi." She mumbled.
"Oh...ohhh...OOOOHHHH!" Chloe yelled.
Melody laughed.
"Oh my god Chloe." She said.
"He is fiooonneee, how did this come about?" Chloe asked.
"He just told me to be ready at nine." She shrugged.
"He ain't properly ask you?" Chloe asked scrunching her face up.
"More like a damn demand...don't worry I have a trick up my sleeve." She said.
"For the first time in history a man is telling you what to do, and you're actually doing it." Chloe laughed.
