Melody Taylor

Melody sat on the floor in her bedroom Indian style as she folded her clothes. It's been three months and she was sad packing away her things. Chloe gasp and held up a graphic tee causing Melody to roll her eyes.

"I can't believe you still have this." She said.

"Me either." She laughed.

She was heavy into music a few years ago, going to Coachella, Concerts and music festivals. It's funny how things change when you have responsibilities.

"God Mel, I can't believe you're really moving. I remember when you found this house." Chloe said looking around.

"Yeah, my first big girl purchase after my law firm." Melody said.

"You know, I'm happy you found love. You put Dominic's ass away, you got your law firm and now you're about to be a mom." Chloe said placing her hand on her stomach.

Melody smiled.

"Thanks Chloe, I couldn't have done any of this without you though." She said squeezing her hand.

"You damn right." Chloe smiled.

"Cupcake?" Mingi called.

"In the bedroom." Melody called back.

She heard footsteps as she continued folding her clothes.

"Hey Mingi." She said.

"Hey Chloe, hey baby." He smiled pecking her cheek.

Melody smiled, she placed her things in a box before moving on to the next.

"Are the movers here?" Melody asked.

"Yeah, I told them to start downstairs." He said.

"Ok." She nodded.

Mingi helped her up and placed a hand on her stomach. Melody looked at him and smiled.

"We need to get on the road so we can beat traffic." He said checking his watch.

Melody nodded before looking at Chloe.

"Thank you for doing this Chloe I owe you big time." Melody said.

Chloe smiled and waved before Melody and Mingi left out the room. Today was the day she was introducing Mingi to her father. She was against it at first wanting to wait until he was out but Mingi insisted.

She was kind of stressing out since they were leaving the moving process to San and Chloe.  Mingi opened the door for her and her heart instantly melt.

"Babe." She said.

"I know how cranky you get with long drives so it's only right if you and our child is comfortable." He smiled.

She smiled as he helped her into the car, he had a basket of snacks and a blanket along with a nice thick book.

"Thank you." She said as he got into the drivers seat.

"Cupcake it's no worries, you just sit back and enjoy the ride." He said.

She smiled and did just that.

"Are you nervous?" She asked rubbing her stomach.

"A little but not a lot. We still haven't broke the news to my parents yet...I'm more nervous about that." He chuckled.

"You think they'll be upset?" She asked.

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about that." He said.
