*Scene: Earth - Station Square - Thorndyke Science and Technology Building*

*Nelson, Lindsey, Helen's parents, and Chuck are once again gathered in front of Chris' portal. Chuck paces the floor*

"There's no doubt about it. Chris and Helen built this machine to teleport themselves to Sonic and Maria's world,"said Chuck. "Then let's use it to find them,"said Nelson. "Unfortunately, Chris and Helen seemed to have designed the machine so that nobody but them could be teleported,"Chuck said. "What?,"asked Doug. "Can't you reprogram it?,"asked Lindsay and Helen's mom.

*Chuck shakes his head. Lindsey cries into her husband's shoulder. Helen's mom did the same on Doug's shoulder*

"There is one thing. Even though we can't teleport ourselves, it seems we can use the machine to teleport material objects to Sonic and Maria's world,"He said.

*As Chuck types on a computer, Nelson, Lindsey, and Helen's parents look up with hope*

"Really?,"asked Nelson and Doug. "Yes,"said Chuck.

*Scene Change: Angel Island*

*Vanilla is standing alone at the empty Master Emerald altar*

"I wonder where Cream, Maria and the others are and how they're doing... I hope everything's okay. *Suddenly there is a bright light where the Master Emerald usually rests. When it dies down, there are boxes of stuff. A baseball and a dress falls off the pile and comes to rest in front of Vanilla, who picks it up* This looks like--,"said Vanilla.

*A pile of clothes falls on her*

*Scene Change: Team Chaotix's Office*

*Vector is resting. The phone rings*

"Charmy, get the phone,"said Vector.

*A tired Charmy flies down from upstairs. He picks up the phone and drops it on Vector's head*

"Gahh! That's not what I meant!,"Vector said. "You'd better answer before they hang up,"said Charmy. "You little... *He answers the phone* I already told you the check's in the mail!,"He said. "Vector, is that you?,"asked Vanilla. "Ah! Cream's mother! How've you been?,"He asked.

*Scene Change: Cream's house*

"I'm calling because I need your help,"Vanilla said. "My agency's at your service, ma'am!,"He said. "I'd like to explain a job to you in person,"She said.

*Scene Change: Team Chaotix's Office*

"Sure! We'll come over right away! *He hangs up the phone, whose cradle is still resting on his sore head* Ugh! *Charmy laughs* What are you laughing at?,"asked Vector.

*Charmy's laughter immediately turns to tears. Vector puts the phone back*

"Hey, don't cry,"He said.

*Charmy stops crying*

"Oh. OK,"said Charmy. "Now, where's Espio?,"Vector asked. "He's right there,"Charmy said.

*Espio is meditating in the corner*

"Get me the pepper mill!,"said Vector. "Sure, boss,"said Charmy.

*Soon Vector is seen grinding pepper over Espio's head. He sneezes, then looks up at a grinning Vector and Charmy*

"Can't you buy an alarm clock?,"asked Espio.

*Scene Change: Angel Island*

*The Chaotix are meeting with Vanilla,
