Wangji and Xue Yang stepped into the company which was burstling with workers trying to hurriedly get to their desks for the day’s work. Wangji walks with a smile on his face next to Xue Yang who wouldn’t miss a second from flirting with the workers regardless the gender. Wangji shakes his head at his friend’s antics and walks ahead when he saw him approaching a female intern who seem to get his attention more.
Getting to the office, Wangji was greeted by a busy Ziyi who seem to be on a phone call. Bowing a little which was returned by a court nod, he walks briskly to his desk and taking out his work equipment and immediately getting to it. Since he resumed, he had been giving some basic works to work on like talking with clients, arranging a meeting with them and appointing a worker for the meeting as he just got in and wasn’t allowed to attend it himself. He was so engrossed in his work that he didn’t realise Zoey was standing next to him not until she taps on the table with her nails to get his attention. Raising his head he greeted.
“Good morning.”
“morning. I see you’re pretty busy here.” She says grinning.
“yeah, quite.” He answers and frowned slightly when Ziyi gave him an apologetic look.
“What is it?” he asks curious.
“Well…… I’m so sorry but I actually have a favor to ask of you.” She says with an unsure look.
“mmm”
“I actually have a lot in my hands right now and Zhan will be on the airport by noon but I will be very busy by then so I want to ask if you could help me out by picking him up from the airport.”
Wangji was silent for some seconds with his thoughts running wild. ‘Picking him up? Of course he would love to. After all, he hadn’t seen him for almost like two days now and he wouldn’t miss a chance to get close to him.’
“okay.”
“really?”
“mmm”
“thanks so much. You’re a life saver.” She says and was about returning to her desk but turns around again to Wangji.
“you know which airport right?”
“I could guess since I know his today’s schedule.”
“okay. Oh and one more thing, you’ll be going to all departments for training for a week so you can improve in all aspects before we can entrust you with the secretary position cuz you know, it’s your first.” Zoey says.
“okay.”
“it’s only for six hours a day. So… are you okay with it? Or or do you want to make some adjustments?”
“it’s fine actually as I would really love to learn from them.” Wangji says with sincerity.
“okay and… I love how free you are with me now, keep it up.” She says with a wink and went to her desk to continue her work while Wangji glances at his wristwatch.
“Four more hours.” He muttered under his breath while a smile graces his handsome face.
The sky bright as ever and the weather, lightly warm but with a chilly cool breeze which caresses the skin causing light shivers down one’s spine. Winter is fast approaching that one could put a guess when it will. Wangji stood next to the big board looking at it every minute to know when Zhan’s flight will be landing on the airport. Seeing the awaited plane finally came to a final stop, he strode towards the exit where passengers already start exiting the plane.
His curious eyes wanders through the passengers trying to locate the familiar, beautiful and breathtaking figure who finally came out magnificently on a black roll-neck shirt, black blazers and pants with a dark denim trouser. One would immediately say that he looks very pretty on black and Wangji couldn’t help but imagine how hella great he’ll look on white. He mentally grinned at the thought but was awestruck completely when Zhan waved and smiled gracefully at him that he could feel his heart drumming loud on his chest that he could feel his breath no more. Words refused leaving his lips even when Zhan stood in front of him that he started feeling nervous deep down and all he did was staring at Zhan who raises his brows at him and that jolted him awake from his deep admiration and smiles at Zhan trying to cover up his nervousness.
