Haikuan parked his bike behind the bushes which is slightly far from his target. It was completely dark with the star shinning beautifully in the night sky with snow falling heavily that it was almost blinding and cold slipping into his body which made him shiver for few seconds and then he brought out a small pouch, took out a cigar stick, and lit it. He walks lazily towards his target while sipping from the cigar on his lips and blowing out hot smoke letting out a deep breath with a cold look on his usually jovial handsome face.
How long has it been since he has been here? Probably forever that he couldn’t even recall. He remembered climbing through the very tall walls before him, hurting himself in the process for the sake of his freedom and he also clearly remembers every crook and crany of this place, after all he was raised and brought up here by his late father’s elder brother who was as strict as rod. Haikuan being a very carefree person, one would clearly guess the reason for his escape back then.
Letting out a dark scoff, he threw the cigar to the ground and stepped on it quenching the burning noticeable fire on it in the process. Taking out a black mask from his pocket, he put it on and moved towards the east side of the huge castle like building before him.
Haikuan knew all escape route in this specific building to heart and ends up taking a very dark and quite long tunnel and with the help from his torchlight, he walks through the tunnel which finally ended with just plain walls but Haikuan knew better that these are not just any walls. Walking towards it, he places his free hand on the wall and traces softly on it and on feeling what he was searching for, he clicked on a very unnoticeable button and suddenly, a passage opened by the walls shifting slightly from their original place. As fast as he could, he walked past the walls before it finally closes and he was met with a dark room which happened to be a storage room.
Knowing fully well were he was, he gracefully walks to what looks like an old Shaddy door and opened it not forgetting to close it behind him. Sighing, he looks up at a security camera which was focused on him and scoffed.
“Of course, he’s here.” He says and starts striding forward. He was careful not to be caught by the other surveillance cameras in every corner of the building. When he walks down and towards a long hallway, he peeped out from a dark place he’s hiding and saw there was no security guards currently guiding the Hall so it was much easier for him to proceed.
He walks through the hall while looking at the room plates numbers on each door and when he finally found what he was looking for, he takes out a pin and careful trying to open up the door which was to no success. He sighed and with a bit of anger twisted the door knob which surprisingly opened up and that didn’t shocked him one bit as he had already suspected something like this to happen since he stepped past that camera in front of the dark storage room.
Stepping into a room, he was met with a pleasant smell of peach and also a loud beeping from a machine to which he strode forward and stopping just beside a huge bed. A man is seen lying gracefully unaware of the world around him. Haikuan walks around the bed and stopping just by the couch which was placed very close to it and he sat down.
Taking up his left hand, he carefully took a bowl of water which he noticed is by the bedside and also a little cloth and he starts clearing the noticeable tears on the man’s face. Done, he kept the bowl at a corner and let out a sigh.
“Didi, gege is here.” He says ruffling the other’s hair a little.
“when are you finally going to open your eyes huh? You’ve been giving us signs but never an improvement on waking up. Please do. Zhan is already at his last bit and he’s giving up. If you really don’t want to loose him, get up and go fight for him. I hate seeing you like this and I believe it will break your when you find out the person you’ve always loved is with someone else and I won’t blame him for that though.
We miss you dearly. *scoff* I can see they are really taking good care of you. Those two are really reliable. I really hate this place but this was the only option that we had. I’m sorry but I’ll have to lie again to Zhan about you. It’s not yet time for the truth. We did all these because we had to. It is to keep you both safe. If we hadn’t done it….we might had lost you both that day. I’m sorry Didi. I hope you can forgive ge?” he let out a shaky sigh and tears trying to slip out from his eyes which he tried very hard to stop.
