The bright shinning light seeps through Zhan's open window and hitting his fair skin. His gaze locked on the ceiling of his room as he slowly takes in what had previously transpired these past weeks.
Wangji had changed since that day. Not like in a rude way but… he became more shameless and Zhan had had a hard time trying not to make his blush noticeable. He never knew Yibo and Wangji would also have that in common. He had tried on several occasions to tell him his answer hut it was as if something was holding him back. He tried and tried and eventually gave up as he decided to go with the flow.
He wasn’t able to sleep a wink last night and was lazy to work either so he decided on spending the rest of the day at home.

Getting up from his bed, he approached his table and sat on the coach besides it while stretching his hand for his laptop to reply to some emails before he heads to the shower. Done showering and dressing in simple wear of gray joggers and a white Tee, holding a small towel on his left hand to dry his hair, his right hand held his phone he uses in screening through the reviews Ziyi sent to his on weechat as he walks down the stairs to the kitchen for a cup of hot coffee.

As he approaches the kitchen, he heard light clanging of plates to which he frowned and stopped what he was doing. He would have been panicking right now but on his thoughts that it might be Wangji who came to make breakfast.

Since the wedding, Wangji had been busy and hadn’t had time to come make breakfast for Zhan and also, Zhan stopped him for doing so because he felt he was taking advantage of the other so after much persuasion and little arguments, Wangji finally agreed which was why Zhan got excite.

He smiled widely as he takes wide strides to the kitchen and on getting to the kitchen, his eyes widened at the people he saw. He was completely not expecting the others.
His excitement quirked in the more and he yelled.

“DAD!” he says and hurriedly walked to the other who was busy making dishes with his wife and Haoxuan helping out with some little things he can. He engulfed Mr Xiao in a tight hug and the older smiled at his son’s antics as he says while patting softly on Zhan’s head.

“are you a kid? Why are you this excited.” Mr Xiao says.

“of course I would be. It has been almost three months since I saw you.” Zhan says as he let go of his father while his mom says with a smile.

“cribling like a three year old. Who would believe you’re a grown man.” Zhan grinned at the comment and went to his mom for a hug.

“sorry for not hugging you first.”

“so you knew your offense.” She says with a glare.

“Sorry.” Zhan whined and he added.

“You know I love you more.” He says with a smile and kisses his mom’s cheeks.

“I know.” She smirked and looked at her husband as if saying ‘beat that.’ Mr Xiao could only shake his head at his family's antics before saying.

“how have you been Zhan?” Mr Xiao asks as he hands some plates filled with fries to Haoxuan who takes it to the dinning room.
“I've was great dad. How was your appointment?”

“fine.”

“if it hadn’t been your plans to stay there for few months, you wouldn’t have missed Ziyi's wedding.” He says as if scolding the other who smiled.

“I’m sorry for not being able to attend it son but…I actually sent her presents for the occasion and besides, Haikuan went there on our behalf right?”

“but it’s still not the same and I never knew Haikuan was with you.” He says with a slight frown.

“Yeah he was but not always. He traveled back to China a month ago before returning like a week ago.
As if Haikuan knew he was being talked about, he walked into the kitchen with bottle of wine on both hands.
