In a slightly dark room, a soliquet laid prone on a king sized bed with white sheets spread neatly and wide on top of it. The room completely quiet that even a pin drop might affect the peacefulness of the said room. The low beeping sound made from the ICU sounding through the peaceful air of the room. The lifeless soliquet's chest slightly ascending up and down almost unnoticeable. A bandage wrapped neatly around it’s head with dry pale lips slightly ajar.
A tall old man walks leisurely and stood just next to the room’s closed entrance, staring through the glass walls directly at the bedridden man. One wouldn’t call him old as he still looks quite young not just because of his looks, but because of the aura coming out from him and the way he’s dressed. Another slightly shorter man who’s younger and in a white doctor long coat walks towards the said man, standing next to him and sighed as he passes a folder over to the other who received it with a nod of his head and a slight hum.
“How’s he?” the taller man probe.
“I can’t say for now but he’s getting better than before according to my readings on his past records.”
“any sign of him regaining consciousness?” the taller asked directing his gaze back to the room.
“nope.” *sighs* “I really don’t know why you decided on this operation. This man is as good as the dead. Only taking in barely noticeable breaths that one could think it’s his last.” The doctor says sighing and the other glared at him turning his head slightly towards him.
“I would appreciate it if you would just do your job and leave the rest to fate. No need for your words and as I told you days before, he’s a very strong youth. I believe he’ll make it.” He says returning his gaze back to the room.
“you really have hope in him don’t you?”
“I do. His survival means a lot to someone very close to me. He has to survive this.”
“He has to.” He added.
“if you say so.” The doc said.
“This man….he….kind of looks similar to a person I know. Who is he?” the doc asked curious but was ignored by the other who gave one last look at the room and walked away with the doc behind him.
The ringing from the door bell brought Zhan out of his heavy thoughts to which he flinched a little. Walking towards the door and twisting the door knob open, he saw a smiling Mrs Wang and he greeted trying his best to stay calm.
“good morning Mrs Wang.” He says with a bow.
“aiyaaa Zhanzhan, how many times have I told you not to call me that. Jie would be better.” She says and she was escorted into the house by Zhan.
She gasped a bit by the interior of the house. She have indeed seen a lot of beautiful houses but this, this is one of a kind and so much not like Zhan's taste as he looks more like a simple man than a man who would like something like this.
“feel free to look around.” Zhan says.
“what can I get you?” He added.
“Anything would be fine my dear.” She says and Zhan nods and walked away.
Mrs Wang amazed by what she’s seeing decides on walking round the house, admiring it with her full admiration. Fazed by the statues, paintings, and all other information in the house, she strode forward and the more she looks at the more impressed she was.
“How come I never thought of this kind of thing in the past?” She asked herself.
“The person who designed this deserves an award.” She says and looks ahead and frowned a bit when her sight landed on a very large picture frame on the wall ahead of her.
She was awestruck when she saw whose picture it is but what made her doubt it was the look in this person’s eyes. He seems cold and quite more manly than the other. Think more into the said picture and studying it more, she couldn’t help but think about an old love and how similar they both are.
‘how had she not noticed this before?’ She thought but jerked a bit when Zhan spoke behind her.
