Jungkook 's flight arrived in H City just past 11 in the morning, but by the time he reached the filming location of [The Pursuit of the Heart], it was already late afternoon, and the sun was about to set.Jungkook was directly taken to the set by Minnie, his luggage was left inside Lisa's chauffeured car. He was only here for a weekend, so he didn't need much luggage. Almost everything in that large suitcase was actually things he brought for Lisa.
Minnie remembered from a previous conversation with Lisa that when they were filming [New Moon Wuxin Sword], Jungkook had visited the set and even brought a foot-soaking tub... Well, now she understood why Mr. Jeon needed such a large suitcase for just two days.
The Republic-era set was vast and bustling. Jungkook saw several crews shooting here as he was walking.
His timely arrival coincided with the crew's mealtime. Jungkook immediately managed to get a lunch box for himself.
"Dr. Jeon arrived at just the right time," Holding a lunch box, Mark teased Jungkook as he got out of the car.
Fortunately, Jungkook had already thought ahead and didn't come empty-handed. He had ordered tea for the entire crew, "I've ordered tea for the crew, it should be arriving soon. I wonder if I'm qualified to eat the crew's lunch box?"
Mark chuckled, "Of course you're qualified! It's been a while since we last saw you, suddenly Dr. Jeon has become much more approachable."
Jungkook didn't pick up on his remark and soon spotted Lisa waving at him.
"Jungkook , over here!" Lisa was wearing a high-quality embroidered qipao, draped with a thin coat, and had her long hair tied up on her head. This was her later stage look, a far cry from the rich girl appearance of the previous day.
When Jungkook saw her, his eyes brightened a bit, and even his demeanor seemed to be affected, involuntarily showing a charming smile. He quickened his pace, and as he passed by, many crew members couldn't help but take a few more glances at him.
Knowing that he was coming, Lisa had prepared an extra chair for him. She patted the empty seat next to her, signaling Jungkook to sit down, "Why did you come directly to the set? I thought you'd go to the hotel first."
Sitting down beside her, Jungkook turned his head and said, "If I go to the hotel, you'll not be there. It's better to come to the set so that I can see you a bit earlier."
Hearing his words, a few of Lisa's assistants on the side couldn't help but whisper and tease. Lisa cleared her throat and handed a lunch box to Jungkook , "You must be tired after rushing here all day. Come, have some food first."
Jungkook chuckled at her attempt to silence him with the food. He took the lunch box handed to him, opening it to take a look, "Not bad, and it's still warm."
"That's right," Lisa replied, "When I used to be an extra, we would often discuss which crew had the best lunch boxes and which one finished work the earliest. The extras here are the same; since our crew came to the Republic-era set, we top both lists, and everyone likes to join our team as extras!"
"Oh, it might also be because you're on this crew. People want to share some good luck by coming here," Jungkook knew that Lisa was now a prominent figure among the extras; when extras started work, they would often pay their respects to her first.
Lisa couldn't help but burst into laughter at his teasing, "Perhaps that could be a reason too."
While they were chatting, the tea Jungkook ordered for the crew finally arrived. Lisa also got her cup, and as she sipped it, she said to him, "There are over a hundred people in the crew; Dr. Jeon is indeed spending a lot."
