Lisa didn't expect Jungkook to propose today. She looked down at the custom-made engagement ring he held and thought to herself that he had planned this for a long time.

"Is this how you propose, so simple without even a flower?" Lisa playfully teased.

Jungkook fell silent for a moment and looked at the scattered roses on the living room floor, "There were flowers originally..."

However, during their passionate encounter just now, they accidentally knocked over the flowers, and now the roses were scattered all over the floor.

Lisa followed his gaze and realized what he hadn't finished saying. She felt a bit embarrassed and said, "Oh, oh... that's fine."

She pretended to be calm and extended her left hand. Jungkook slowly slipped the ring onto her ring finger, a perfect fit.

Looking at Lisa's hand with the ring, Jungkook leaned down and kissed the back of her hand. Then he stood up, holding her hand, and said, "Actually, I had also prepared fireworks for today."

Feeling like the ceremony wasn't grand enough, Jungkook reluctantly brought out the fireworks as well. Lisa raised her eyes from the ring and looked at him with some surprise, "You prepared fireworks too?"

"Yeah."

"Then why didn't you set them off?"

"..." Jungkook pursed his lips and said, "Yesterday on set, Min Jun already set off fireworks for you, didn't he?"

Lisa paused for a moment and couldn't help but laugh, "What's that? Those were set off by the crew!"

Jungkook awkwardly replied, "It's similar. I just didn't want you to think I copied their idea."

Lisa chuckled, "What's so creative about setting off fireworks? Hahaha!"

Jungkook: "..."

Yeah, she was right. :)

Lisa looked at his face and stopped laughing, "No, what I meant was, it's not creative when the crew sets off fireworks, but it's very creative when you do it because you're Jungkook!"

Jungkook: "..."

He took it as a compliment, for the time being.

"Where did you plan to set off the fireworks?" Lisa  curiously asked him.

Jungkook replied, "Before coming here, I asked the hotel, and they helped me find a place where I can set off the fireworks. We can see them from the hotel."

"Oh... Well, since you've prepared it, go ahead and set them off," Lisa blinked at him, "I won't find you old-fashioned."

Jungkook :"..."

Customized fireworks couldn't be returned, and fireworks were flammable and not suitable for long-term storage, so it was best to set them off promptly.

Jungkook made a call to the pre-arranged contact, and soon Lisa, who was waiting on the stage, saw a firework bloom in the sky, "Here they come! These must be the ones you prepared, right?"

"Yes," Jungkook replied and walked up, holding his phone. The fireworks bloomed in the sky one after another. Lisa was like a child, full of excitement. "Wow, they're so beautiful! And there's a heart-shaped one too!"

Jungkook glanced at her; his lips curved into a smile, "I'm glad you like it."

Lisa turned her head to look at him, and her smile widened, "You put so much thought into preparing all of this for me, of course, I like it!"

Knowing how busy Jungkook usually was with work, she appreciated the effort he put into preparing all of this, so how could she not like it?

Jungkook's heart felt mushy when he heard Lisa  simply say that she liked it. Unable to resist, he moved closer, hugging her waist and planting a kiss.

Seeing him clinging to her like a big puppy, Lisa couldn't help but laugh and push him away, "Okay, stop being silly. I want to watch the fireworks."

"Oh," Jungkook replied and continued to hold her as they watched the fireworks together on the stage.

The next morning, Lisa went to the film set on time, while Jungkook packed his belongings and returned to City A.

The film crew also prepared a cake for Lisa. There were snacks and drinks brought by the crew to show their support. This 26th birthday was the most special and fulfilling one for Lisa.

After Lisa's birthday, November came quickly. It was the last month of the [The Pursuit of the Heart] drama's shooting. Finally, [New Moon Wuxin Sword] announced its airing schedule in mid-November.

When the airing schedule was announced, everyone was naturally excited, but there were also people waiting to see how it would turn out for Lisa, who became famous with just her face. Would she fall or rise to a higher level? It all depended on how well the drama performed when it aired.

Before the official broadcast, the production team released another wave of promotion and several new posters. The new posters had a nostalgic feel of early martial arts dramas, further raising the audience's expectations.

On December 6th, [New Moon Wuxin Sword] premiered on time and surpassed one billion views in less than half an hour, sparking heated discussions online. The actors' makeup and performances, as well as the director's filming techniques, received varied reviews. Although there were some shortcomings, the overall feedback was positive.

Lisa's character, Yunjin, only appeared in the middle of the TV series. The episodes featuring her marked a new peak in viewership, even surpassing the premiere.

Yunjin's role wasn't too challenging, but Lisa's natural acting and well-delivered lines, combined with her impressive martial arts, finally satisfied the audience who had been eagerly anticipating her performance on-screen.

「Ah, ah, ah, I will forever stan Lisa Manoban!」

「Lisa's performance is really good! Yunjin's character is supposed to be aloof, but Lisa portrayed the different emotions of the character so well! Her eyes are so expressive, you can see that she put in the effort to train them!」

「U1S1, so many people act aloof like AI, just because their eyes are so stiff.🤦‍♀️ Lisa's  eyes are lively! Anyone who says Lisa has no talent, I'll plaster Yunjin's character all over their face!」

「Seeing the fans going crazy makes me so happy! 🐶」

「Lisa has already occupied all the space in my eyes. 😭」

Seeing the high enthusiasm for the drama in the past few days, the production team released a behind-the-scenes video, capturing Lisa's first attempt at wirework.

"I'm flying, hahaha!"

In the video, Lisa laughed heartily while soaring in the air, looking funny and adorable. The team even made a meme, adding the caption: [Lisa takes her first flight].

This meme quickly went viral online, rivaling the popularity of the "dog thief" meme from before.

With the online buzz, it was soon the last day of the year. Last year, Lisa and Jungkook celebrated together; this year was no different. They chose this day to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and get their marriage certificate.

Ending also meant a new beginning. On this day last year, they got to know each other again, and this year, they were embarking on a new journey together. It was a significant ceremony for them.

The registration process was quick. Although the staff recognized Lisa, they professionally helped them complete the entire procedure.

After receiving the red booklet, Lisa seemed a bit dazed, "Did we just get married so easily?"

"...Was it easy?" Jungkook remained reserved. They had gone through twenty years of their life before finally ending up together.

"I think I should post on Weibo about this," Lisa said to Jungkook. Jungkook had no objections, "I don't mind, but will your fans be able to handle it?"

"They should be fine... Besides, the news will definitely leak sooner or later, so it's better if we announce it ourselves."

"Okay."

Lisa took a photo of their marriage certificate and posted it on Weibo.
