Ship: Jeongin / Hyunjin

Words: 1,377

Summary: "You deserve to have a girlfriend or boyfriend, hyung" Jeongin speaks suddenly. Hyunjin looks up from where he had been zoning out into the boring kitchen floor and patiently waited for Jeongin to finish his glass of water.

He stares. His sexuality is not a secret between the two, but the bluntness of the statement catches him off guard. It's the alcohol, Hyunjin assumes.

Jeongin giggles every two steps. He has it easy, Hyunjin thinks. The world must seem so funny right now.

Hyunjin holds Jeongin by his hip, and walks for the both of them down the silent street in the middle of the night. It's empty, only a few cars pass by every few minutes. Hyunjin doesn't even know what time it is, just knows he has to take back Jeongin safely to their place.

The younger laughs as he nearly stumbles over his own feet. Hyunjin huffs as he manages to catch him right in time before he has the chance to fall onto his face. "I'm so drunk hyung" he realizes with a smile, and Hyunjin wants to scold him, wants to remind him how dangerous this whole situation is for his health, but he can't help it as he glances quickly at Jeongin's tired and innocent face. Who looks at him with pure adoration, with dimples deeply buried in his cheeks. Unknowingly, he just nods, mirroring his content smile.

Jeongin falls onto his mattress fifteen minutes later, panting loudly as if he had carried the both of them (like Hyunjin did) to their apartment. He tips his head back, closing his eyes as he breathes through his mouth.

"We need to change, young man" Hyunjin sighs, and waits for him to open his eyelids. Jeongin does so a moment later and scrunches with his whole face. Hyunjin pats him on his head. "Come on sweet boy"

He ends up removeng the boy's puffer jacket for him, takes off his jeans and passes him his own trainers (since he doesn't know where Jeongin keeps his). The younger lazily wears them on, while Hyunjin changes into his sleeping clothes too.

He washes his face in cold water, ties his longish hair together and stares at himself in the mirror. He makes a mental note to book a hairdresser's appointment tomorrow, and maybe for Jeongin too. They like to cut it together at the same time, just because they have always done it.

He finds the sight of Jeongin standing a bit lost in the kitchen. The head is tilted to the side, ogling at him with very much confused eyes. The moonlight shines directly onto his defined jaw and bare arms. Hyunjin remembers when Jeongin used to look like a middle schooler – cheeks puffy and eyes so big that could scan the whole world. But suddenly, Hyunjin stands before a figure of a grown man in their shared dorm.

"What is it, Innie?" he asks softly as he steps closer. He can't help but call him by nicknames, can't help but hold his forearm with his fingers and close their distance by touching him gently. They lock eyes, and it takes a moment for the younger to spill his need. Turns out he was thirsty.

"You deserve to have a girlfriend or boyfriend, hyung" Jeongin speaks suddenly. Hyunjin looks up from where he had been zoning out into the boring kitchen floor and patiently waited for Jeongin to finish his glass of water.
