Summary: Seungmin tries to propose in a nonchalant way
---
Click, click, double-click, click again. Seungmin has been clicking on his screen for the past thirteen minutes, just so he can pretend he's working.
There is an entire hour left before his actual workday finishes. The thing is, he already did everything he was supposed to do today.
His coworkers, people who are 30 years older than him, would need half a week to complete the same tasks. Seungmin only needs six hours, which is sometimes a blessing, or a bummer.
It's on an empty Excel sheet in which he even created imaginary templates just so it looks like he's working on something. Seungmin preps his chin on his palm, so that everyone thinks he's concentrated and doesn't bother him.
He wants to go home so bad.
He checks the time – 5 minutes left. Maybe that should be enough. Working at an office job apparently gives you the best acting skills.
He pretends to stress-sigh and run his hand through his hair as he turns off his computer. Then, he gathers all his stuff and purses his lips.
Everyone in his office waves him off and no one asks him for another favor. They probably all think he has an important appointment now.
In reality, Seungmin just drives where he can get his favourite iced americano. Two of them actually, because one of them is for Hyunjin.
He smiles just at the thought of seeing him, because – just because. He isn't dramatic okay, but he loves Hyunjin. He doesn't say it often though.
He enters his key to his apartment and steps in. "I'm home", he yells, when he pushes his shoes away from his feet.
Before he can walk further, he can hear loud steps running towards him.
"My puppy!"
Seungmin presses his lips into a line and shuts his eyes for a moment. He really hopes his neighbours didn't hear this one, because it would actually be embarrassing. But he never told him that.
When he opens them again, Hyunjin just jumps in front of him with a bright smile. "Hi honey, how was work?"
"Boring as always. Better, now that I'm home". Before he can even stop himself, he leans forward and kisses the corner of his lips. Right after, he feels himself flush.
"I brought you a drink", he concludes quieter, and hands him over the one he bought him. When he meets his eyes, Hyunjin is looking at him all enchanted. Stop it, he wishes to say, but he doesn't. How should he explain: he likes it, when Hyunjin loves him visibly.
"Thank you jagi. Now come here, I gotta tell you about my day. Dinner is ready, jagi. You like jangjangmyeon, right jagi? Jagi!"
