"Bring 'em in the house," Sero calls out to Mineta as he pushes Kaminari into the house.
You're fuming at Kaminari at this point. Not only did he out you to these strangers, but he did absolutely nothing to help while you were stuck to the ground with Mineta's quick.
"Y/N, listen to me," he begs you as Mineta approaches you, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Fuck off, Kaminari," you growl, ignoring him as Mineta picks up the purple ball and sticks it back onto his head. "Ew."
When Mineta looks up at you, it hardly takes you a second to process that you said aloud what you had meant to only think. "What?" you shrug, trying to play it off cool.
"What did you say?" he narrows his eyes.
"I was clearing my throat," you gulp. "I wanted to ask you something."
"Did you?" he grins, standing to his feet.
"Yeah, I, uh, wanted to say that maybe we could come up with a deal. I don't want to see the Prime Minister just yet and I know you were looking for a pretty girl so..."
"So..." he gulps, obviously intrigued. Yet he still pushes you into the house and has Sero tie you to a chair before asking you to continue.
You look over at Kaminari before beginning. "I'll go out with you," you then smile at your two captors sweetly. "If you let me take a quick visit to the fourth, when I have to come back this way, and I do in order to return to the eighth, I'll stop by and go out with you."
Without hardly thinking, Mineta gives you his answer. "Deal!"
"What?!" Sero looks at him oddly, raising his eyebrow at his friend's stupid decision. "You're not serious."
"Of course I am!" Mineta rolls his eyes before nudging his friend in the arm. "Let them go."
"No, but, you're joking, right?" Sero chuckles awkwardly. "Right?..."
Mineta sighs as he approaches you and tears apart the rope which you've realized is just out of some kind of tape. You really can't believe Kaminari gave up everything for some tape.
"Thanks, Mineta," you grin as he frees you.
"Of course, pretty girl," he winks.
"I can't believe you, Mineta," Sero huffs.
"Let's see," Mineta hums, ignoring Sero, "you must be hungry. Let's see what we've got for food."
Sero shakes his head as he sits in the chair to your right. You look at him as you pull off the tape bonds from your arms. "I'm starving," you smirk. "What do you have?"
As you follow Mineta, you notice Kaminari's jaw on the ground. He's still tied up, obviously forgotten by Mineta.
About ten minutes later, you return to him with a plate of food. You put it on the table and spin Kaminari around so he can eat, yet his arms behind him don't allow him to do so. "Y/N, please, let me explain."
"What is there to explain, Kaminari? You were willing to give me up, no hesitation."
"That's not what happened," he sighs, looking down at the ground.
"Eat your food," you roll your eyes as Mineta hands you a plate. You smile at him and quickly switch it with Kaminari's, not wanting to take any chances. You then push Kaminari's face down, smothering it into the dish. Sero watches you with wide eyes, gulping as he reaches for his fork.
"This is nice," you smile as you dig into your food.
Kaminari keeps his face down, not bothering to pick it up and face the humiliation. That's fine, in your opinion, you don't wish to talk to him anyway.
Once everyone is done eating, Mineta scurries off to clean up after you. While he's gone, Sero leans back in his seat and sighs.
"So what's your deal?" you ask him. "I thought everyone in the fifth was pretty well off?"
"I suppose I can't complain," Sero replies as he tilts his head to the side in an attempt to crack his neck. "I've got a pretty good job as a coordinator for my crew, but things could be better..." He then, without any prompting, changes the conversation. "You know, I've always wanted to go to the fourth, too."
"Oh yeah?" you scoff. "You want to be a spy for the Prime Minister?"
You look over at Kaminari, who still hasn't moved. Did he pass out from embarrassment?
"No, not at all," he shakes his head. "I wanted to visit the resistance group, too. Honestly, I told Kaminari that and so that's why he spilled..."
"Why didn't you just say that before?" you groan, reaching for Kaminari's head and pulling him up by his hair. "Would have saved this jerk from humiliation."
"Seriously," Kaminari mutters, his cheeks covered in food.
"To be honest," Sero begins, looking past you to make sure Mineta hasn't entered the room again. "I haven't found the right way to tell Mineta. He, uh, he doesn't know."
"I think it's about time to," Kaminari groans. "It'll save the next guy from this fate."
"Look, I'm sorry," you sigh, reaching for his napkin and wiping his face.
"About time to what?" Mineta's voice calls out as he walks into the room. You pause briefly to glance between him and Sero before telling yourself that you should stay out of this one.
"It's alright," Kaminari replies once you finally free him from the tape. "I still probably deserved it."
"Uh, Mineta, I think we should talk alone," Sero rises to his feet, ushering his friend out of the room.
"You didn't deserve it," you sigh. "It wasn't like you did it unprompted."
"Well, I did tell him about going to the resistance unprompted... I figured that since everyone else we met so far was helpful..." he begins before trailing off.
"I know, but you still never know. I mean, Mineta was ready to sell us off!"
"Until you said you'd be his girlfriend," he grumbles.
"I did not say that," you roll your eyes, pulling away from him.
"You said you'd go out with him," he reminds you.
"So what? It's not like I'd be cheating on anyone. I don't have a boyfriend, obviously."
"I know that, I just..." he sighs, shaking his head.
"What?"
"It doesn't matter," he replies. "I just really didn't want to die."
"Shut up, Kaminari," you roll your eyes, smiling softly. "Eat your food."
"How? It's all over your napkin."
When Sero and Mineta arrive back in the room, they face you with stern looks. "Looks like we're going to change the plan," Mineta sighs.
"What does that mean?" you ask, turning to face them.
"The date's off," he mutters under his breath.
"What he's trying to say," Sero begins, shooting Mineta a look, "Is that we're going with you. But, first, we're going to get you some support items since, you know, you don't have a-"
"You're both coming with us?" Kaminari interrupts, sounding skeptical.
"Yeah, and I'm going to introduce you to my friend, Yaoyarozu," Mineta nods.
"You have another friend?" Kaminari asks.
"And she's a girl?" you add, causing his eyes to narrow.
"Do you want help or not?"
"I just find it funny," you chuckle.
"Whatever," Mineta rolls his eyes, clearly unamused.
"Alright, so," Sero says, drawing everyone's attention, "We're going to visit her first and then we will cross over to the fourth together."
