We rowed over the waves towards Enderlord's ship, fighting to keep these tiny boats steady as they struck us.

"I feel like I'm gonna be sick..." Axel complained as the tiny boats rocked back and forth.

"We'll get there soon," I assured him. "Once we're on the big boat, it won't feel so bad."

I picked up the pace and started rowing faster, hoping to get as far as possible before the next wave started to form. As we drew closer, it looked like this plan was going to work, like we were going to remain undetected, but just when I was starting to feel safe, an endermen from the crows nest spotted us, and teleported down to warn Enderlord of our arrival.

"Well, that's not good," Olivia pointed out.

"It wasn't part of the plan," I agreed. "But we can't turn back now. We're almost there! We can still catch him before he gets away!"

I said that, but I wasn't so certain of it myself. I rowed as fast as I could, but I feared it wouldn't be fast enough. To my shock, however, Enderlord didn't try to run away, and instead appeared on the bow of his ship, staring down at us, a triumphant grin on his face.

"Ah," He began. "I've been expecting you. Finally, after all this time of running, I have the upper hand."

"Not for long!" Petra cried. "Prepare to be boarded!"

"This is as far as you go," Enderlord shook his head, pulling out a raw fish and dropping it into the water beside our tiny boats.

"What exactly was that supposed to do?" Jesse wondered.

The water bubbled and stronger waves started churning around us.

"Uh-oh..." I gasped, noticing a large shadow starting to approach the surface of the water.

"Uh-oh, what?" Olivia asked me.

Before I could respond, the beast burst through the surface of the water, destroying all our boats and grabbing up Olivia, Axel, Ivor, and Soren with its tentacles before we could even react.

"The Kraken!" I exclaimed.

"The what now?" Lukas asked.

"Another mythical beast from legend in my world," I explained. "It's a large octopus—err—squid like thing."

"Yeah, we can see that," Jesse nodded.

"Any ideas as to how to take this thing down?" Petra wondered.

"Attacking it head on isn't the best idea," I concluded. "I say we go underneath it and try to attack it from behind. You guys with me?"

The three of them nodded.

"Okay, on three," I decided, staring down into the water below and getting ready to take a deep breath.

Before I could start counting, a shadow formed overhead, and I noticed the Kraken was moving one of its remaining four tentacles to crush us. I swam as fast as I could, barely getting out of the way, but I was still drenched by the spray of water that came up as the tentacle crashed through the surface of the ocean.

"Okay, forget counting to three," I decided. "Just take a deep breath, and let's go!"

I took a deep breath and dove under the water, swimming down to go underneath the Kraken, hoping to get off a few sneak attacks once we were on the other side. Just when it looked like my plan was going to go off without a hitch, two of the Kraken's tentacles were brought down beside us, writhing about, and one of them managed to grab Petra, pulling her down. My eyes widened in shock as this happened, but I stifled my gasp. Jesse didn't hesitate, and immediately started swimming down after her. I could have stared after them until they disappeared into the deep, but something pulled me onwards. Lukas pulled me all the way up to the surface, where I could finally breathe again. I took several deep breaths taking in as much fresh air as possible, until a thought sank in. Uh-oh... if I was almost out of breath after that... I didn't wanna even think about how Jesse and Petra were doing.

"Well, uhh, let's carry on with your plan," Lukas suggested.

"Right," I agreed, freezing over a small part of the water and making a platform for us to pull ourselves up onto.

Lukas got up first, and turned around to help me the rest of the way as I struggled to get my legs up onto the platform. The two of us turned to face the Kraken, our weapons held at the ready.

"Let go of my friends!" I cried out, sending a flurry of icicles at the back of its head, while Lukas fired off a couple of arrows.

The Kraken cried out in pain, swishing its remaining tentacles and starting to turn around. As it spun around, it brought the tentacle holding Olivia down into attacking range. I didn't waste any time and slashed it clean off with my diamond sword, setting Olivia free. She drew her bow quickly as she fell towards the icy platform, firing an arrow right at the Kraken's gaping mouth. I didn't see whether or not it hit, but based off the Kraken's howls of pain, I assumed it did. The Kraken flailed its tentacles around wildly.

"Okay, now I'm definitely going to be sick," Axel announced, clapping one hand over his mouth.

"I gotcha, big guy," Lukas assured him, cutting him free with his stone sword.

"Woah!" Axel cried out as he faceplanted onto the icy platform, nearly tipping the whole thing over.

"Got any TNT or anything to throw at this thing?" I asked him as he pushed himself up, shaking his head as if to clear it.

"Not ready to throw, no," Axel explained. "But I got some gunpowder from those creepers we fought back there in that candy forest and I'm pretty sure I picked up some sand back there, too."

"I have four wooden planks left over," I told him. "Let's get crafting!"

"Yeah!" Axel cheered, pumping his fists as I made a crafting table and placed it down so he could create some TNT to lob at this beast.

Axel quickly placed the sand and gunpowder on the crafting table, and a block of TNT was formed. He wasted no time throwing it at the beast's head. It shrieked in pain again, bringing another one of its tentacles down.

"Ivor! Go for it!" I grinned as I cut him free.

"Watch this," He grinned, downing a potion, either of invisibility or speed(I wasn't too good with potions myself so I couldn't tell which).

He sped off(Guess it was speed then), actually running on the water, going in a big circle around the Kraken, dodging as it tried to catch him again and slashing the beast as he passed. The Kraken cried out in rage, jerking another tentacle downwards as he flailed about.

"You, too, Soren!" I exclaimed, slashing him down as well.

I formed a path of ice for him over to the Kraken, and he charged in, striking the beast with his stone sword. Now the only two that were still missing were Jesse and Petra. Oh no. Were they still underwater? Had they drowned by now?! The beast screeched and gave one final cry of agony, snapping me out of my thoughts, and then it was still. I looked to see who had delivered the finishing blow. Jesse and Petra had climbed up onto the beast, their blades driven through its eyes.

"Jesse! Petra!" I smiled. "You guys are okay!"

"Thank goodness," Lukas sighed with relief. "I was really worried about you two." ***

"We're fine, Lukas," Petra assured him, sliding down with Jesse and joining us on the platform of ice bobbing up and down on the waves. "Enderlord's going to regret ever messing with us."

"Hopefully he's still here," I sighed.

"Let's go look and see," Jesse decided.

I nodded silently, turning the platform of ice into a pillar, raising us up so we could board Enderlord's ship. Enderlord was standing on the main deck, his back to us, talking to some of his crew. One of the crew members noticed us, and his eyes widened in shock, but didn't communicate anything to Enderlord. However, Enderlord must've seen the change in that crew member's expression, because he turned around and saw us standing there. He didn't say or do anything. He seemed fairly calm, actually.

"Well, well, well," He smirked. "Look who made it all this way."
