The next morning rolled in, she woke up with the same person on her mind, Kim Taehyung.

Her mind refused to let go of his thoughts. What would he be like the next day? Will he remember their conversation? Will he look at her the same way again?

To know the answers, she had to go to Uni, she had to face him to know. She didn't like being left without explanations, so she bundled up her worries and tried to temporarily forget them so that she could focus on her routine.

In a short span of time, she was sitting in the campus garden, quite early before her classes started. She let herself stare at the plants, birds and flowers around her and ease her mind for a bit.

While she admired the beauty outside, her eyes caught a sight of a beautiful flower with bright white petals bloomed under the soft embrace of sunlight.

She got up on her feet and strolled towards it slowly. She touched the smooth surface of the petals and crouched down to get a better view of the pretty plant.

Her lips formed a tiny smile oin adoration for the innocent flower.

"Do you want that?" A voice came from behind of her.

Jennie, startled a bit, turned a bit to look up. There stood a guy his golden brown hair radiating a lighter color under the morning ray.

"I look after the garden, so i wouldn't mind plucking one if you want," he, too, sat low a little away from Jennie.

"No, don't. The garden looks better with it. I don't want to snatch it's beauty, let it grow," she gazed at the flower for a few seconds before looking back up.

"You're one of a kind, most of the people that come here steal the prettiest flowers for their girlfriends and destroy the other plants along their way," he joked trying be friendlier, which did make the mood lighter.

"Well, I don't have anyone to give this to, i wouldn't be happy if I stole this flower, so I'll let it pass," she smiled back warmly.

"Thank you for being so good to my garden, you can have this instead!" He presented a tiny yellow flower to her.

"Oh, my god, this is so cute! I love it! I appreciate it!" She slowly held onto the tiny stem with her fingertips with utmost care.

"I'm Marc," he extended his hand to which she gladly accepted to handshake.  "Jennie" she said.

"So are you here every morning?"
"Yeah, I'm incharge of watering the special plants they use for research or demonstration, so I water them every morning around this time"
"That seems fun, tell me more,"

They got up and proceeded to roam around in the garden for a few minutes.

Lunchtime started as the sun reached overhead and shined down furiously.

Jennie hadn't seen Taehyung today. As busy as she was with her classes, she expected to see him now. It was his habit to sit with his friends even though he ate nothing till the last 10 minutes.

"Let's eat!" All the girls lifted their spoons and forks in unison. Jennie and her friend dug into their meals. But Jennie still kept looking around hoping to find Tae.

That very moment, Tae walked into the area and continued walking towards his friends.

He walked past her table, though it just made his way to his friends table longer. As he reached the table, he waved and greeted his friends like usual but with a lower energy.

Jennie, who obviously noticed that he did not look, followed him with her eyes. She saw how he looked gloomier than usual.

She faced front with her head down in disappointment. After convincing herself to focus back on to her friends, she soon emptied her meal and left sooner than everyone else.
