"Mom, we're gonna go out for a stroll for some time, for a break" Jennie hugged her mom before leaving, while Taehyung stood outside the kitchen watching the sweet sight.

He hung his head low in jealousy, though it was adorable to see Jennie so close to her mother.

Her mother held her hand, as if to stop her. "I'm fine mom don't worry, just for a few minutes" she comforted her mom.

"Dear, carry umbrellas. It appears to be very cloudy today. It might rain anytime now" mother advised.

"It won't take long, we'll return soon" she tried to shake off the umbrella, she just did not want to carry anything in hand.

"I insist you take one-" "Bye mom!" She escaped, dashing out of the door. Taehyung gave an awkward smile and waved at mother and followed her out the door.

Outside, the weather wasn't too bad. Clouds hid the sky with dark clouds and the atmosphere was cold. "Can we leave for ice cream now?" Taehyung grinned sheepishly.

"he's so obsessed with ice cream right now," Jennie grumbled in a low voice, and pulled the main door to close it.

She lead the way, since she knew better around her neighbourhood. Taehyung kept tapping on his phone, lifting his head up once in a while so that he didn't lose Jennie.

"Get off your phone for once," Jennie put her palms over his screen, only for Taehyung to push it away delicately.

Taehyung was immersed in his phone completely. He did not even realise that they had reached the ice cream parlour.

On his way, he ran into a lot of people since he wasn't paying attention, so Jennie took matter into her own hands, pulling his sleeve around, saving him from getting his face ruined.

Though Jennie was truly reluctant to touch him, she couldn't find an alternative. He was her guest today, and she ought treat guests well. Tugging on his sleeve did not cause any direct contact of skin and that was far better than actually having to touch him.

After a while of pulling and tugging, Jennie and Taehyung stood in the line waiting for their turn to order.

Their turn finally arrived, Jennie greeted the handsome worker and nudged at Tae to let him order first.

Taehyung looked up, finally bringing his head out his phone and looking up at the menu.

As he scanned the menu, his ears listened the cheerful conversation of the worker and Jennie.

"How are you doing today! You look adorable today!" He exclaimed, starting a conversation.

"Thank you, you look great too!" She replied, being the friendly girl she is. "Yeah, so what can I get you two today?" He got into his work.

"Uh... I'll take-" As soon as she opened her mouth, she had to shut up because, Taehyung here had decided to make things complicated.

"I'm standing right here, let me order first" he turned to Jennie, his eyebrows knit.

"O-okay?" She had a confused face, she flashed an apologetic smile to the worker.

"I'll get...." He looked back at the menu. He certainly hadn't decided what he wanted, he was too busy listening to the other two.

"I'll go first, I'll get mint choco" Jennie chose hers. "Can you find us a place to sit while I order?" Taehyung was signalling her to get away from there, pretty aggressively through his eyes.

Jennie was so confused she just listened to him, pushing through a small queue of customers waiting to order.

"Stop trying to hit on her!" Taehyung angrily whispered to the worker. "what? No! I wasn't-" he defended.
