"Dude, chill. She's just in a difficult situation. I bet it has nothing to do with you-"

"But what if it does? I'm a jerk, I know it. SHE knows it. Everyone does!"

"You really need to calm down! Do you get it? Her friend is not doing well, she's worried and that's probably why she's acting like that!"

"What about that other guy then?"

"Why is he in the scene now?"

"Just forget it. You're not helping" he stormed out of the car, banging the door close.

"This is your only car Taehyung!" His friend screamed from the backseat.

"I shouldn't have said that to him, I'm so stupid!" Jennie spoke in the phone.

"I'm sure he understands. Just say sorry if it bothers you so much. One talk is all it takes to fix; believe me" Leah replied, hoping her friend stopped worrying so much.

"Hey, mind if I suggest something?" Andrew interrupted. Jennie waited for him to continue.

"He's is easy to convince. Moreover your charm seems to work differently on him. Just make him something to eat— thank me later!"

"That's it? Wait, store bought or homemade?" She was starting to think Taehyung was a food-materialistic guy.

"No, no. MAKE it at home," with a pause, he added again, "The last time I poured a cup of hot water for his instant noodles, he started crying and thanking me. Don't know what's up with him, but I just know it works!"

"Okay... How about I don't have to talk to him and just give the food?" Jennie hoped it would get right without talking, it would be so awkward to take back such harsh words she had said to him.

"Believe me, I know you're reluctant to talk it out, but it's for the best. I'm sure he'll understand for once. Perhaps, because it is YOU who's saying it," Andrew was being very serious about the two's fight. Jennie was quite suspicious about Andrew's heavy involvement in this.

"Alright cool. I've noted everything. I hope this works!" She sighed and smiled softly.

"Hope? I'm sure it will" Leah reassured her. "Okay, good luck Jennie. It's time for Leah's meds. We'll see you later! Bye" Andrew disconnected the call.

Now, Jennie knew she had to get to work soon so that she wouldn't have to carry the misunderstanding and ruin the mere friendship she had managed to build with him.

She sat back on the headboard of her bed, resting her back on a pillow. She opened YouTube, scrolling through snack recipes; sweet, savory, minty, sour, salty every possible flavour known to the human tongue.

"I like salty snacks"

His words flashed her mind. "That's it! Salty snacks it is!" She rapidly tapped her fingers on the phone screen, looking through videos to watch.

"This is too simple. But some creativity might just level it up" she planned something in her head.

She got off her bed and went straight to the kitchen. "Hey mom, can you help me find these ingredients? I have a serious mission" she walked around quickly, grabbing boxes and jars.

"What are you doing?" Her mom asked, lending a hand to her nonetheless. "I've got to make some snacks, like for tomorrow"

"What's tomorrow?" Mom asked confused greatly. Jennie just shook her head and continued to do her thing.

The clock has moved it's hands, about 2h since she started. Jennie now sat at the dining table with a paper, some colouring supplies, scissors and sticky tape trying to craft something.
