The lunch bell rung, waking up the students from their bored minds. Taehyung exited his class wanting to reach his locker.

"Hey, where you up to?" Jamie grabbed Tae's shoulder stopping him.

"Oh nothing, I wanted some gum from my locker, I'll be back real quick," he replied showing an empty gum wrapper.

"I got your back my bro, here take mine," he shoved his hand into his pocket and pulled out a fresh pack of gum. Tae's face relaxed, his hand reaching for the pack.

"MOVE MOVE!!" two guys dashed into the hallway, pushing through the crowd and squeezing between people awkwardly, but in a great speed.

Tae and Jamie, who were significantly late reactors, turned their heads only a few seconds before the boys crashed into them.

"I'M SO SORRY!!! THANK YOU!!" The guys got on their feet in a flash and disappeared.

Tae and Jamie took each other's hand and got up. "What were they doing? They almost wrecked my back today!" Tae dusted his clothes.

He remembered the gum Jamie had given. He searched around him hoping to find them.

In a short while, he found them, but they weren't in an edible state at all. The guys from earlier had already squished them on the floor.

"Damn, maybe gotta go to my locker now," Tae shrugged and continued on his feet.

Jennie and Leah stood in the corner trying to pretend normal. Jennie had found Tae the very second that he entered the corridor.

Every moment that Taehyung got nearer to his locker, Jennie panicked a little more.

Taehyung lazily tapped on the numbers while pulling out his phone. He opened the locker door without looking. The moment he opened the door, Jennie had expected a downpour of letters.

There was none. Taehyung got no letters. But Jennie had observed that the other volleyball players in the university opened their lockers to find at least 10 new letters everyday. But why not Tae?

Taehyung looked up from his phone, in to his locker, his eyes first recognising something unusual to him, a letter.

This must be a prank. The guys always tease me about getting no letters. It's probably one of their sick jokes.

He flipped the envelope a few times to make sure it was a real one. He still couldn't believe it.

He threw his phone in the locker and carefully opened the sealed envelope.

Jennie's heartbeat fastened in her chest, thumping crazily, showing no signs of slowing down.

Sweat beads rolled down her neck, as she watched his moves closely. She could not hold in the anxiety that was building up in her.

"I can't watch, please can I leave first?" Jennie pleaded. "I don't have the confidence to stand and watch him read it or even throw it away, I'll leave now" with that, Jennie rushed into the restroom.

On the other side, Taehyung's hands trembled as he slowly took out the letter from the enclosed envelope.

He carefully placed the empty envelope in his locker and slowly, with a lot of alertness, opened the folds of the paper.

To,
     Kim Taehyung ♡

This is my first fan letter to you and the first letter I have ever given to someone. Please consider my letter as support to you.

I had come to watch your game a few days ago. You played exceptionally but I was concerned about your leg injury. Please take care of yourself.

I do not want to trouble you, so i wrote this letter to tell you that, no matter what, I will always be here for you, to support you and see you do better.

Take care of your health and eat well.
I hope to see you play vb more and win in matches to come in future.

Ps.: wear rings more often, your hands look very nice that way :)

Love,
JRJ ♡

Taehyung held the letter with such a happy heart that he couldn't keep in his smile. He read it over and over again even though it was a very short one. His tears were about to spill, his happiness meter almost burst.

He did not know who JRJ was, all he knew was that person made his day, week and month altogether.

Leah watched his reaction and immediately his smile was making Leah happy. She really wanted Jennie to be able to witness it.

She couldn't wait to let Jennie know about this. She decided to tect and ask Jennie where she was. She received a text saying that Jennie was at their table eating already.

She decided to visit the restroom before she went to lunch.

By the time, Tae had reached the cafeteria which Jennie definitely paid attention to. He looked very cheerful.

He crumpled something that he took out of his pocket and threw it into the bin while he entered.

Jennie's heart skipped a beat in fear.

Did he throw my letter?

Just in time, Leah joined Jennie at the table. She noticed that Jennie was looking at Tae already.

"How do you feel now Kim?" Leah said in a singing tone, teasing her.

"He threw my letter?" Jennie glanced down as tears formed in her eyes. She kept looking down to hide her tears.

"What? No! You don't know how happy he was when he read that!" Leah assured her in excitement.

"No! Don't lie to me. I saw him throw a paper like 2 minutes ago. I saw it!" She quivered.

"it must be something else! I swear I saw him smile like a kid when he opened the letter!" Leah tried her best to convince her.

Jennie wouldn't budge. She kept insisting that the paper he threw was her letter.

Now who was gonna tell her?
