"Then we can have different blankets alright?" She threw a blanket his way and moved her pillow away from his. She did not want to do this, but she had to because her nervousness wouldn't let her do it.

She had to have a "sleepover" with a guy she wasn't even properly friends with. She still couldn't trust him so easily. But because she saw him so vulnerable with her, she had believed that he wouldn't do anything she didn't approve of.

Tonight, she only had to keep an eye on one thing; the pillow she hugged all night. Her habit of hugging pillows might turn around and embarrass her. She prepared everything, got ready to sleep. Between the two sat a line of plushies Jennie owned through her life of 19 years.

Though Taehyung had complained of them staring into his sould creepily, she insisted they stayed only for sterotype purposes; not boyfriend meant, a barrier between and no contact. She hadn't specified this rule she had followed like a holy word but made sure to keep it on; she was a female.

"I swear, i sleep like a rock, Kim. Once I slip into slumber, there's no moving," he justified himself several times only to make sure she trusted him. "I know. But what if my mom comes home by then?" "And?" He said nonchalantly.

"She might think we are together," she stated in a low and unsure tone. "Well, then we'll say yes and just get together. No big deal," he shrugged and smirked at her.

"YOU-!" She threw a plushies at him, causing 0 damage. After playing around for a good 10 minutes, Jennie gave up first, she let her body fall onto "her" side of the bed, laying on her back and staring at the ceiling.

"What now? You give up?" Taehyung teased her sitting in "his" side of the bed as he waited for her to get back to the childish fight they were in. "This fighting, pretend play; it reminds me when my brother and I played with each other at Granny's house before we were forced to fall asleep," he narrated to her a random memory of his. His smile was genuine when he spoke about his family.

When he was getting into details of how his brother would chase him and throw pillows at him to pretend play fights, Jennie was busy admiring his smile and sparkly eyes that awoke while he passionately spoke about his sweet moments of childhood.

"You listening?" He waved his hand before her face, breaking her off from her thoughts. "Yeah, sorry," she halted a moment before starting again, "you really love your family, don't you?"

"Mhm. You could say that, I care a lot about them. Just that they don't feel the same way" his smile slowly faded away from his lips.

"You wanna talk about it?" Jennie wrapped her arms around her knees and rested her chin on them, gazing at him. "Actually, we will leave it for another day," he said smiling softly.

Disappointed that he wasn't opening up to her freely, she still understood that it was hard for him to talk about it. She wrapped up the conversation and slipped under her blankets.

"Okay then. Let's get some rest and do something tomorrow," she spoke with her eyes closed. "Mhm, alright" he mumbled and got under the sheets as well. Then, she turned off the lights with a flick of a switch. Jennie was mixing up sleep schedule for the first in a very long time, hence she was bound to fall asleep first.

She closed her eyes, hoping she would sleep but all that happened was she couldn't relax at all. Maybe because Taehyung was sleeping beside her, or maybe because her melatonin was playing games with her. She layed on her side, hugging a small stuffed toy in her arms.

She could see Taehyung's figure in the darkness, though not his features. Her eyes wide open, she stared at his face, not sure if his eyes were open or closed. She sighed deeply. Her thoughts were starting to take over her mind, pushing slumber further away.
