An earthly swelling before eyes of mankind, this planet suffers from clever design,
In my neck of woods highway sixty-two, a treasure trove, from Algonquin to Lake Ontario,
Isostatic rebound a phenomenal recoil, watch as sky reaches nearer the soil,
From a world famous beach to the mineral capital, this drive contains all saxatile,Aurora borealis an uncommon delight, can be seen from our county, what a luminous sight,
From ancient dunes made of glacial till, to abandoned uranium mines at our north end hill,
This roadway has vistas for all kinds, as well as historical richness for our minds,
So many creeks, ponds, rivers and lakes, an oasis where many a fisherman partakes,I ponder how this land looked during last ice age, ice sheets providing two mile high stage,
A venue for spirits to perform, playing us songs sounding of thunderous storm,
The footprints left behind from ice pressure, formed our current topographical measure,
And underneath it all an aquifer maze, this strata could entertain us for days,Come one come all spend some time on our route, take in the ambience of which we're about,
You won't be disappointed we're the genuine article, make way through our hood, soak in every particle,
You'll return home with a new sense of wonder, having added to what you once were,
This message brought to you by internet searches, I encourage you all to give into these urges.~Farls Tokley
