Are we in crisis on our little blue marble ball,
So much so we spend free time at the shopping mall,
If there was calamity surely we'd pay full attention,
Putting minds to use collectively for a corrective invention,This has got to be a practical joke or a grand conspiracy,
Al Gore and his cronies should be charged with heresy,
There can't be any true science to contradict peon memes,
Where their math shows idiocy of their poorly thought out themes,When oil companies put out brainwashing propaganda,
I see fools suffer brain freeze from ice caps melting near Alaska,
But in Nebraska corn is being squandered on high octane flex fuels,
Igniting mighty conservative and democrat bureaucratic duels,What side has the stamina to right the symbolic ship,
Should it be solar powered or run on diesel at fair clip,
Whether we call it an emergency or not it doesn't really matter,
As a species shouldn't we take care of Mother Earth's bladder?Ensuring we don't cause infection or irreparable damages,
Or should we kill every tree and burn tires like savages?
I want my son and his children to breathe clean air freely,
This is a pragmatic stance to take and live by ideally,Wouldn't you agree we shouldn't shit where we eat, so to speak,
Regardless of the talking points the nightly news plays then critiques,
Common sense tells you to look after your body to stay healthy,
But when it comes down to our land we'd rather rape it to be wealthy.~Farls Tokley
