Remus stared at his phone in disbelief, did the Sirius Black just follow him back? He had been a fan of the guitarist for years now since he discovered the band when he was newly 19, his boyfriend at the time had loved the band, and he grew to love them too. When they broke up, this band was the only thing he held on to.

Over time the band had become acutely aware of his existence, they weren't a massive band, they toured Europe and America, but most of their tours were 2-4k capacity shows, and a few of the members were online a lot so between going to shows and interacting online Remus had made himself known.

Sirius and he had interacted a lot, and Remus had to admit he had quite a soft spot for him, so when he saw Sirius followed him back he felt absolutely ecstatic. He had a few of their shows coming up within the next week and he couldn't wait to see all of them again.

It was a three piece band, the lead singer was named James Potter, he was a bit of a loudmouth but he was charismatic and a good frontman because of it, it drew people in and kept them interested. Sirius was the guitarist, and a damn good one at that, he was kind to fans, but had the bad boy persona down to a tea. And their drummer was Peter Pettigrew, a fan favourite, he was sweet and funny, but quiet and drawn in.

Immediately, Remus took to the social media platform to tell his friends and followers about the exciting development.

SIRIUS BLACK JUST FOLLOWED ME???? HELLO???

SiriusBlack Replied:

no way, congrats oomf!!!

Remus saw the notification on the top of his screen, 'SiriusBlack replied to your post' and jumped online near immediately to check that it was really him, and it was. Remus was in disbelief, this wasn't the first time Sirius had replied to one of his posts, but it was certainly the first time he had done so without being tagged.

Over the coming week Remus noticed Sirius liking and replying to a lot of his posts, and each time it filled him with just as much glee as it had the first time. Particularly when he interacted with the ones where he hadn't been tagged, or the ones that weren't even about the band.

By the time the day of the show rolled around he and Sirius had been interacting online quite a bit, so he was excited to see him again. He specifically pulled out a nice outfit the night before with one of their band shirts, a design they sold a few years back on one of their tours which was tie-dyed and very retro-style, and he put on a pair of ripped jeans to match.

He checked himself over in the mirror before hopping into his car and driving toward the venue. Thankfully, this was a fairly local show so he only had to drive around 45 minutes, he was going to be queueing for the day so he arrived to the venue in the late morning and spent the day with a few of his friends he knew from online or previous shows.

The day passed quickly and uneventfully, and soon it was time to go inside. Because he had shown up early he ended up with a really good spot on the barricade right at the front of the venue, his friend asked if he wanted to aim for the centre of the stage, which would have been right in front of James' mic stand, but he said he was going to be going slightly to the left since that's usually where Sirius stood to play.
