Remus was never much for quidditch, he thought it was a silly sport and the sheer amount of injuries that came out of it had him shocked that it was even still permitted, let alone so widely celebrated. But when Sirius joined the team, he began going to games to support him, and in fact even found himself enjoying them, just a little.
He still believed it to be a brutish and dangerous sport, but he had to admit that Sirius looked incredibly good in his jumper, it was tight and hugged his muscles, and the way he dashed around with great agility on his broom, his eyes focussed and his lips tight, it made Remus' heart flutter every time.
They had just won a game and so there was a large party in the Gryffindor common room, James and Sirius along with the other players were all being showered with praise and hoisted onto peoples shoulders as Remus watched on from a corner, pretending to read but really watching Sirius' every move.
It was at this moment he watched as Marlene McKinnon, a young witch who the marauders were all friends with and who could usually be found hanging around with Lily, approached Sirius and planted a deep kiss on his lips which was met with whooping and hollering from the others, Remus however had to bite down heavily on his tongue to stop himself from bursting with rage.
Sirius politely moved the girl off of him, and gave her a charming smile as to not upset her before excusing himself, he strayed away from the large crowd and was about to head upstairs when he saw Remus in the corner, chewing angrily on the inside of his cheek, his eyes fixed to the page but not truly reading anything. Sirius approached him and knelt down beside the armchair he was on, looking up at Remus, who didn't move an inch.
"Not joining the party, moony?" Sirius asked, trying to use his teasing and friendly tone, but there was something else underneath.
"No. Besides, it doesn't look as though anyone seems to be missing me." Remus replied, trying not to let his anger interfere with his voice.
"I did." Sirius shrugged, and Remus scoffed.
"You seemed a bit preoccupied." He replied, bluntly.
"Is that why you're sulking in the corner? You're mad about Marlene?" Sirius asked, Remus stayed silent.
"Alright Moony, come on." Sirius said, standing up and reaching his hand out.
"Where?" Remus asked, finally glancing up from his book.
"Upstairs." Sirius replied, and Remus, though still uncertain, took his hand and allowed himself to be led upstairs. Few people took any notice, but Lily did, and she smirked as she watched the two run up to their dorm.
When they did arrive, Sirius hastily closed the door and pinned Remus up against it, staring him in the eyes for a second before crashing his lips against the werewolf, who blushed heavily but returned the kiss.
Sirius placed a hand down onto Remus' waist and leaned into him, in response Remus raised a hand up into Sirius' hair and tangled it in the long black mess. The two stayed like that for a moment, the kiss was heated and rough yet somehow gentle at the same time, full of passion and lust but also adoration, kindness, fondness for one another. When at last they pulled away, Remus was bright red and Sirius had that signature smirk on him, not like the polite smile he had given to Marlene.
"What was that for?" Remus asked.
"I know you well enough to know you were jealous, and for that matter, I know you well enough to know that look you've been giving me." Sirius smirked, and Remus found himself flustered by a combination of Sirius' words and his hand which was still firmly planted on the werewolf's waist.
"That doesn't prove-" Remus began but was cut off.
"You hate quidditch. Always have. And yet, you come to my games, you don't go unless Gryffindor is playing, and every time I look to the stands you're not looking at James, or Zach, or anyone else on the team, you're looking at me, with that look in your eye." Sirius pointed out, at times it was easy to forget how intelligent he was because of how he acted with James, his cocky and dimwitted façade often fooled people into thinking he was stupid or inattentive, but in truth he was as smart as anyone, perhaps even more so.
"Fine. I like you, is that what you want to hear?" Remus finally gave in.
"Yes." Sirius whispered, leaning back in to give the boy another kiss, this one just as passionate and lust filled than the last. Remus' hand came up to clutch Sirius' arm, which was still beautifully outlined by his quidditch jumper. As Sirius pulled away once more, Remus gave him a coy smile, and Sirius felt his heart triple in speed.
"Don't go kissing random girls anymore," Remus said with a surprising amount of confidence for him "save them for me."
"You have my word." Sirius smirked, finally releasing Remus' waist and taking a step back.
"I still don't like quidditch. But you look damn good in that jumper." Remus said, giving Sirius one last look before walking out of the dorm and back to the party below where Lily immediately berated him with questions and asked what happened and he simply gave her a coy smile and a shrug, sitting back down and opening his book back up.
