We all met in Magnus's room because he invited us to have breakfast there. Lennon and I didn't say no since we were leaving later in the afternoon anyway.
Our rooms were also just next to each other, so it wasn't hard to go there. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the loud voices of Raven, Jax, Magnus, and Winona.
They were playing music, and Winona was singing.
That early in the morning, and this is what they decide to do!
"I didn't know you could sing," I said in disbelief, looking at Winona, which made them stop.
"Uh..." She acted surprised, but it was clear she cared about her reaction.
"No seriously, continue!" I said excitedly, and they listened to me.
I didn't expect her to have such a nice voice. With how she always yells at us every day, I thought she'd lost it by now—but no.
At least now we've found a reason to like her.
"Why hide it? I mean, is this the reason why Z hired you?" Lennon asked, as if he couldn't believe Winona had potential.
"Uh... yeah, they know... but they want me to experience everything first..." she bit her lip, clearly feeling awkward about the thought.
I could tell right away she was uncomfortable, since she wasn't usually like this—she always had a furrowed brow.
"Come on! Let's eat!" I saved the room from the tension.
After eating, we hung out and talked until noon, then Lennon and I left.
We went back to our room and changed clothes so people wouldn't recognize us—we just wore hoodies, shades, and masks.
Even in the car, I couldn't hide my excitement because it had been so long since I last ate at a carinderia, and I couldn't wait!
"There are so many! Where should we eat?" There were so many carinderias along the way, but they were all packed with people.
"Somewhere not crowded," he said, and continued driving until we found a hidden eatery.
It was a bit scary because it was far from the hotel, but it was worth it since everything I was craving was there!
"You've never tried this before?" I asked, and he shook his head.
His fancy car stood out, even though he parked it under a tree.
"I will, for the first time, just for you," he said cheesily, and then we ordered.
We sat nearby and ate. I waited for his reaction before asking, "So? How was it? Rank it!" I asked exaggeratedly, and he laughed.
"It's good, ten out of ten," he said with a nod.
"Really? Are you serious? Or are you just saying that because you don't want to offend me?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Would you be offended?" he fired back, and I immediately shook my head.
"Seriously, it's good. I like it," he said honestly, and I smiled.
"Thank you for coming with me, and trying new things for me," I said mid-chew.
"As long as you're happy," he said, then wiped the rice from the side of my mouth!
Ooh, that's embarrassing!
"Hydrate yourself, please," he said, because I was talking and eating too fast.
My eyes widened in shock because those words reminded me of something. While I was thinking, he poured water into my glass and handed it to me.
