Flowing Rhythm

Today is Monday, and our poster and video commercial deadline for BOTB is on Friday. So far, Lennon and I haven't talked again because of the defense, so we've both been busy. So far, everything is okay with our band. Even the ledger record is done. The elimination round is also next week, so we've somewhat simplified the club.

What our whole section is handling now is the booth, but that's mostly decorations, so we just helped out.

"Just tell me! What did you guys talk about? Maybe something's going on between you two," the two have been pestering me since before.The Beatles and I talked about last week.

Because they're so nosy, the rumor spread that I have a crush on him. Me, of all people!

"Again? It's just the commercial for BOTB, you're so annoying," I said irritated to them.

"Is that all?" they teased me.,, I didn'twithwithwer and just walked ahead of them. We were going to the canteen to eat, probably the usual. I was about to get in line when Johann blocked me.

"Don't bother, Roella. I already bought something for you," he said sweetly as he handed me a McDonald's paper bag! How could I say no? Free food, no refusal!

"Hey, did you get a haircut again from Mom?!" Jeisha shouted at her brother.

"Did you only buy for her, Johann? What about us?" Lexi pouted at Johann. He just smiled, rubbing the back of his neck, "That's all that fits in my baon (lunch money)." He really emphasized that word so his sister would hehann, don't waste your baconn just to spend on me. Auntie might get mad and blame me for not feeding you, but thanks..." I scolded him.

I try to limit this guy's teasing because Jeisha might think I'm using her brother for stuff like this. We're friends, but Johann is her brother.

I don't want anything from him, but I appreciate his admiration for me. That's it though, I can't see myself dating someone younger. And I will never date my best friend's little brother.

Johann left after giving me the paper bag. I sat at our usual spot while the two queued for their food. I was sure they were talking about me. Of course, they have to since they want to have a really pretty friend.,

I don't know why the line was moving so slow. Looks like it will end after dismissal, so I started eating. I couldn't hold back my hunger, hehe. Some classmates passed by and greeted me, so I felt a bit silly eating alone here!

"Can I sit here? There are no other tables left," I was surprised when Lennon suddenly appeared in front of me.

I heard some students whispering, probably thinking there's something going on between Lennon and me ssomething is goingen seeing on Twitter since he talked to me alone in the room last week!

I was about to say this seat was taken, but he immediately sat down in front of me. Doesn't he have other friends? I usually see him with them, but he's alone this time.

"Are you free on Wednesday?" he suddenly asked. I wondered why, but I quickly nodded.

I looked at the queue where Jeisha was and was surprised to see them smiling at Lennon and me while sitting with others! Such fake friends!!

"I think so..." I answered, and he nodded.

"We'll shoot at my place," he said while eating with me. Why does this feel so awkward?? We talk so... formally... yet casually at the same time!

"Uhm, aren't we going to practice the song?" I asked, and he paused.

"Are you free today and tomorrow?" I nodded, but he didn't answer me. Minutes passed,, and no one spoke. I casually ate in front of him, not caring that I was already using my hands.
