I had to leave Zeus with my mother before I went to the airport. Of course, the monster is still pissed at me and made sure he makes me feel that he is. I left him with a lot of treats, the ones Hera brought him because he liked them more than what I usually buy him.

I took a sleeping pill to help me sleep on the plane. Exhausted is not even close to what I'm feeling. I'm drained mentally and all I want to do is sleep before the hell that I'll unleash by the time my plane lands. I will need all of my energy for today.

By the time my plane landed, I had a driver take me to my house for a quick shower and rest. I have two hours before the driver picks me up again. I checked my email to check for any updates from Winter and so far none. Wherever my twin decided to disappear to would not be his last time because I was livid enough to kick him back there and lock him there forever.

I patted my suit as I got in the car. I have never been this fuming mad ever even after all the things my father said about me. I have always been calm and collected. I never lashed out to anyone and now I am itching to fire an entire department off.

I advised the building's security personnel to wait outside the door because they would be dragging some trash out. By the time I came into the meeting room, everybody was there. My father sat at the centre of the big table. His face was grim like all the faces of the people in the room. I asked the CIO and the security lead to keep the findings up until this meeting.

"You better have something good to tell us today with the short notice you sent to all of us."

I smirked and placed my hands in my pockets. "Unlike you guys, someone had to move quickly right?"

"Where is your brother, Laurent?" In meetings like this, I'm Laurent to my Dad.

"I still don't know. I am hunting him down as we speak." I glanced at the chair my brother usually occupies in these meetings. "Now we have pressing matters at hand. The data breach has been controlled." I scanned the table across my fellow executives and the different heads per region including the culprit. "We can take care of the PR communications after this meeting but we have to penalise the one who caused this." I opened up my laptop and showed the evidence that Winter sent to me. "Someone has been leaking the data of the customers since the start of the year. We initially had three suspects but further investigation told us it was none of the three. There is a specific computer however that kept accessing the sensitive databases and sending those data to someone outside of the company. Specifically, our company's biggest competitor once we have fully expanded in Asia."

"It is an inside job then?" My father asked impatiently.

"Apparently." I trained my eyes on the suspect. "Mr. Fosters, how much are they paying you to ruin our reputation?"

"Wh-what?" His eyes widened like a thief who had just been caught. Well, he had just been caught.

"If you are playing innocent, you are doing a bad job."

Dad crossed his arms, his eyes squinting at me. "Weren't you the one who put him on the job? Are you conspiring against the company?"

My face turned to my father. "How can you even think that?" For him to think I am competitive, that's more acceptable than him thinking I'm a traitor.

"Because I named your brother as my successor. You, on the other hand, are not. You have the motive. And the timing is certainly not coincidental, don't you think? Being the Chief Financial Officer, you certainly know some of our most sensitive data."

I grinned at my father. "I see what kind of faith you have in me," I admit that it hurt that he thinks I can do that to him and the company. I walked beside him until he was looking up at me. "Unfortunately, all evidences point to Mr. Fosters. We have traced back who is his contact with the other company and everything sums up. While I may have been the one to appoint him in the position, he underwent all security checks like any other employee." I glared at the CIO and the security lead. "Apparently, the report returned clear and there were no doubts about his loyalty."

I nodded at the person by the door to have Mr. Fosters extracted from the room. He fighting and begging at the same time but I don't want to waste any more of my time with good-for-nothing people like him. I trusted him and my twin trusted me to choose the right person for the first time.

I crossed my arms. "You can have me checked if you want. You can choose the security company yourself if that will help you sleep at night." I looked at the board. "We still have to compensate the customers affected so we have to make sure we have to make the other company liable for this." I nodded towards the PR department that I specifically requested. "Draft a communication plan and send it to us for approval. I need it by the end of the day."

"Yes, Sir."

"I think we can adjourn this meeting. For any other concerns, please direct your emails to me." The executives nodded at me as they left the room. I was fixing my laptop when my phone rang. "Laurent Llamanzares."

"What the fuck is happening?" I had to glance at my phone to make sure it was the person I thought I heard.

"You're fucking breathing," I said blankly. My father is looking at me with a puzzled face.

"Of course I am! Well?" He said impatiently.

I tried to calm down my anger because lashing out at Enchong wouldn't fix anything. "The data breach has been contained. We have determined the insider who leaked the data to the competitor. The PR will be handling the communications." I looked at my Dad, someone who never trusted me. "Since you are back, I think people will be more comfortable if you start handling things from here on."

"No," Enchong said curtly. "You handled it well, Enteng. Finish it. Close it off. This is all you. I'm happy the company has you during this time. Winter told me briefly about the help you asked of him. I should have trusted your judgment about having them instead of the security team we currently have."

I nodded. "I'll keep you in the loop. Will you come here to the main HQ?"

"I'll stay here in the Philippines and control things from here. We still have the gala to plan, right?"

"I thought you won't be able to come?"

He let out a breath on the other line. "Turns out I'll be free on that day." His voice sounded deeper and more somber.

"Did something happen?"

"Let's just sit this through, Enteng."

I nodded. "Okay. You better call Dad because he's worried about you. Congratulations, by the way."

"Enteng..."

"I have to go. I'll catch up with you later." I didn't wait for him to hang up. Somehow, hearing his voice erased my worries. He was okay. I still want to kick his ass but on top of that, I still wanted him safe.

I grabbed my laptop and was about to leave the meeting room when my father called me. "Enteng, regarding the chairmanship-"

I faced him. "This isn't the time for this conversation, Dad. We are still in the middle of a crisis. Once we settle this down, you can berate me all you want. I don't fucking care."

I went out of the room to go to my office here. I glanced at my phone and saw the endless meetings I'd be having throughout the day.
