Hera walked to me - or stomped is more appropriate based on the drop of her foot on the ground. I stood up until I was looking down at her cute and annoyed face. The color started blooming in her cheeks but I doubt it is the pleasant kind of blushing.

"No, I am not leaving here until you forgive me."

She crossed her arms but before she can spit out something again, her mother walked closer to me while smiling.

"Nay!"

I smiled in amusement because she was pouting at her mother.

She murmured while rolling her eyes. She's far from the lawyer who is very mature and carried herself formally. Her mother handed her the bouquet but she just chucked it in the bin like some trash. I deserved that.

The father and daughter duo walked away in different directions. Zeus found his place in front of an electric fan in the living room. Hera's mom walked me to their dining area where she served me a piece of rice cake and coffee.

Her face may have aged but I see how beautiful she was when she was young. Hera definitely inherited her mother's good looks.

I nodded and took a bite of the rice cake. "Masarap po ang luto niyo. My Mom would want to taste this."

"Ah, salamat.

She prefers living here, actually."

Her eyes twinkled as she stared at me. "Napakaganda ng mga mata mo."

I gave her my megawatt smile. "Salamat po."

She sighed. "Napakagwapo mong bata. Kaya siguro nagustuhan ka ng anak ko."

"I see where she got her looks too. Your husband must have warded off a lot of suitors before."

"Stop flirting with my mother." Her mother giggled at her reaction. Hera carried a couple of cleaning tools with her, her face still reflecting her annoyance at my presence here.
