"Uhmm.. Hi" I nervously responded. "How are you doing today?" he asked.
"Ohh, well uhhh.. I am good thanks and how about yourself?" I said. "I'm well. So why did you call me at this time of night?" he asked. With the breath I took in before responding to Dean, I see Masesi besides me giving me a disappointing look to my current reaction.
In ignorance I focused back to talking to Dean and with my mouth I said to him, "I'm sorry if I called you on a bad moment however I wanted to talk about us. Where we stand in our relationship and at this point, I don't even know if this is even worth dealing with it or move on ."
"Larona, Where are you right now?" he asked. "I am at a friend's house. Have you listened to what I've just mentioned before?" in reply with confusion. "I honestly think such matters are meant to be discussed in person. Let's meet up & properly settle this situation once and for all." Dean said firmly & with calm.
I nervously look back at Masesi as she drinks her wine glass with interest. Then I agreed to meet up with him.
The call had ended and I only had about 20 minutes to get ready and face my music. Masesi stares at me with hopeless eyes and said "Remember you are going to break up with him. Don't fall for his charms again!!" I rolled my eyes and began to be on my way out of the house.
I walked towards my car and started driving to the specific place that Dean suggested that we should meet up. The drive to that location was about 30 minutes. The place seemed isolated but beautiful at the same time. The building was a fancy wooden place with beautiful night lights surrounding the front yard and leads to the main door.
After being impressed with the scenery of this place, I stopped the car from where I parked and I walked towards the wooden place. I knocked at the door and a young man opened it.
"Good evening Ms.Kent. I suspect that you are here for Mr. Rikhado." the gentleman spoke. "Yes, May I know where can I see him?" I asked in agreement. "Please follow me mam." he instructed. We went to his office and since the gentleman left me by the door, I gave myself a quiet time to relax and then I knocked nervously for a few times.
"Come In." His response.
