(LARONA'S POV)

My eyes had been swollen from crying over losing my house. I ended up packing my remainings at my best friend's place in preparation to go back home to Limpopo. The on-going drama had deeply affected my mental health hence my final decision was to leave this area.

Masesi eventually dropped me off at the Cape Town international airport. Everything was checked and I was set to fly back home. I felt slight dizziness with a headache but I held on until I arrived to OR Tambo international airport for my second flight. After a while of air travel, I landed in Johannesburg. I still wasn't feeling well but I pushed myself to book a hotel nearby for tonight.

Nobody either than Masesi know my location. This is the result of being caught up with 2 stubborn men. When I had the chance to settle in my new hotel room, I ordered food from room service. I managed to find some painkiller tablets so that after eating my food I will drink the pill. Once my food was delivered, I ate peacefully.

Just as I was about to swallow the pill. I physically ran to the toilet and vomited. My body was weakening and I couldn't understand what was going on with myself. I was too tired to even consider leaving the hotel to consult at a medical center. The only point I thought of doing currently was to take a nice warm bath and sleep afterwards.

On the next day, my journey continues and I booked in a local flight to Polokwane. The travel was short and eventually I arrived in the city of the Limpopo province. My mood was better than yesterday. I felt happy to be  here. I hired a cab driver to locate my address and eventually I saw my parents' house. When I stepped outside of the cab and was done loading off my belongings, my mother was sweeping the front yard while singing a gospel song.

She paused from her duty and had noticed me approaching the small gate.
"Larona my child!!!" she joyfully greets me with a big warm hug and we instantly shed a tear together. "Hi Momma." I greeted her with love and we kindly broke off our lengthy hug.

"It's been a long time since you've come here to check on your family girly. I hope Cape Town is not changing you to a point that you will forget coming home." my mother joked and I laughed at what she meant. "I will never forget home Mama." I replied.
"where is everyone else?"  I asked my mother just before she resumed her cleaning. "Olerato is in the kitchen preparing breakfast and your father is still asleep. Try to surprise them to make them feel more alive please." my mother kindly let me know.

I giggled from her comment and went inside the house to greet my baby sister. She's 3 years younger than me however our bond is like soulmates." Surprise. " I happily greet her.
She turned her back to find out who said that and automatically screams in happiness. "Sesi!!! (sister)" she exclaimed. We gave each other an exciting hug and did our own style of handshake.

"Olerato!!! Why are you shouting so early in the morning?? You truly cannot let an old man enjoy his peaceful sleep....OHH MY LARONA IS HOME." My father approaches me for a massive hug too with a kiss on my forehead. "Hi Papa. It's so good to see you well and strong ." I responded.

Eventually my family and I settled for breakfast time and we bonded lovely.
I initially informed my parents that I have transferred my job to a local school which will make me stay home for a very long time. They were pleased to hear the news and even though I decided to keep a secret from them by not explaining the real reason to be here, I was simply grateful for how welcoming they are to me without any interrogation.

I basically unpacked my things to my old room which unfortunately I share my space with my little sister but since we've never had a bad relationship as sisters. I didn't mind it at all. We had our own bathroom to share so our room was big enough for us staying in one space.

"Sesi, Don't get me wrong for saying this but you seemed different." Olerato mentions it to me. "I guess the water from Western Cape province did its thing by keeping my skin glow up." I nervously joked with her and we bonded by informing each other about work related matters. My little sister works as a receptionist at a private hospital..

Olerato continued to look at me carefully and for some odd reason, it started to make me feel a bit uncomfortable. "What is it with you looking at me as if I'm not alive?" I asked her.

"You simply seem thicker than I remember you usual figure. I love the new glow honestly." she answered me. I let it go and told her that I'm going to take a shower. After taking a shower, I started to brush my teeth and while I was at it, I noticed that my taste buds had change hence the taste of the toothpaste was not pleasant for me.
I vomited again and again until I was able to feel physically well again.

My eyes were watery and my physical strength was slightly weakening. This moment I simply knew that I needed medical help but I had to go there discreetly.  Just when I was about to clean up my little bathroom mess, Olerato barges inside and catches me.

"Oh My.....G..." she was surprised by what she saw but I interjected her immediately. "Please don't tell Mom and Dad about this?" I sincerely asked her. When I resumed to clean up my mess, my little sister stops me and insisted on helping me. I thanked her even though I was feeling embarrassed.

"Sesi.(sister) I'm worried about you for real. I can tell that you are trying to act as if you're fine but clearly you are not coping. You slightly gained weight and now you just vomited toothpaste that was inside your mouth? Something tells me that maybe.. You're late on your periods. " she said.

" No way I can't be late on my period, it's too soon to even conclude that." I responded to downplay this situation.
" Actually, when I come back from work tomorrow, I will bring pregnancy tests, just to be sure. What you are going through currently it definitely needs the test." Olerato firmly tells me as she concludes cleaning and enters the shower.

The words pregnancy test echoed inside my mind which made me worry about how it might affect my life completely.
