CHAPTER FIFTY SIX

Thandeka arrived at her lavish home from the drama that happened earlier today. She felt disturbed by the way Zain discarded her to chase after Larona. Even though she has not yet lost hope in trying to win over Zain, her frustration of Larona getting in the way of her plan makes her overly upset. She demanded a beverage from one of her maids to calm down. Mary at that time spotted her master's mood and finds herself feeling afraid of being called. She secretly finds a way to run away from Thandeka but unfortunately her master caught her right away. "Where do you think you are going when you owe me something?" Thandeka said with intimidation. Mary was deeply nervous to reply to her which angered Thandeka further. "Your incompetence is getting on my nerves. Did you manage to get something from Larona's place?"

"No, Mam unfortunately I couldn't find a chance to do what you asked for." Mary confessed. Thandeka immediately grabs Mary to cause harm. Mary tried to defend herself from the crazy boss who happens to lose her control. Thandeka was pushed to the floor which made Mary to be in shock. "I am so sorry Madam. Please forgive me, I didn't mean to make you fall down." The servant cried. Thandeka grabs one of her heels and throws it at Mary. It hit on her side of her forehead and then she aches in pain. Ariana walked inside the scene and immediately stops Thandeka from getting out of control. "Thandeka Stop It." She spoke out loud.

"Leave me alone. Ariana." Thandeka stated while tided herself up from her fall. The servant's reaction had turned into something that both ladies was unprepared to listen. "You know what? I am no longer working for you Miss Vilakazi. I am through with listening to your orders and being treated like a slave. You are a spoilt, jealous creature and a piece of work to get along with. This is my last day being here and i will let your father know about my resignation." Ariana was speechless as she looks at Thandeka as well as Mary. She tried to calm the situation from becoming worse for the ladies however, Thandeka's motive to address this changed suddenly when she picks up a designed dagger on a table and aims it at Mary's middle neck. The dagger pierced inside Mary's neck leaving her body to slowly become lifeless. The horrific blood was flowing out of Mary's body and begins to cover the floor.

Ariana was traumatized at the execution of how Thandeka simply killed Mary. She steps away from Thandeka while maintaining eye contact with her. In deep shock she had this to say to her friend. "Since when did you allow yourself to become a wild animal? Thandeka you just killed a woman. You killed a trusted worker with a sharp knife!!!" Shortly after this, she plans a way to eliminate the crime scene without other servants noticing a thing. Thandeka did not care about how this situation affected her friend's feelings. Even though she was well aware of committing this terrible crime, her thoughts couldn't allow Mary to walk freely while knowing her secret plan concerning Larona. She remains quiet and prepares to leave the house.

"I won't deal with this mess that you have created by myself Thandeka." Ariana reminds her just before she was heading out. "I know i just wanted to make some calls that could help speed up solving this mess" Thandeka lied. "Maybe letting your father know about this might save us some trouble." Ariana suggested. Thandeka agreed with her and then manages to leave her. She went to the backyard of her house by the pool side and sits down on a chair. She searches her phone to contact Zain. The first call was not answered as well as the second call. Out of frustration she harshly puts her phone down. Two gardeners were passing by while having a chat. This caused her to eavesdrop.

"Mr. Radebe bought another house near the harbor and i saw him. He was with his pregnant woman to look around the house. That woman used to teach my niece from school. It's so surprising to realize a Teacher and a Mafia member become a couple." The first gardener commented. "I wonder why that woman doesn't leave her job. I mean her career cannot continue if she exposed herself to be with a dangerous man that makes millions of monies from kinds of crimes." The second gardener shared his opinion. "I agree with you, my friend. She must choose between being part of the mafia or simply be a law-abiding citizen that stays far away from this otherwise this will cost her reputation badly." The first gardener replied.

The gardeners' small chat brought up an idea that could work in favor of Thandeka. She smirked in realizing how she plans to make Larona's life a living hell. She picks up her phone and makes a quick call to someone. The call was answered which made the conversation brief. "Donavan my darling, it's been a long time since we have chatted. Well, listen here because I have some juicy scoop that will be worth your money in journalism. I will email you the full story and please make sure, all media companies prioritize this news all over the country my dearest. " She kindly spoke, and her phone call ended on a good deal.

Thereafter, she begins to admire her beautiful orange manicure that had sparkles as well as a ''ZR'' cursive initials on one of her nails. She smiles at herself with a thought that made her sound vocal in the moment. "Now it's time for your highness to turn in ashes rural girl."
