(The Next Day)

06:30 am. My phone alarm went off. It was a beautiful sunny day. A fresh start to enjoy the weekend. On this Saturday morning, I took it upon myself for a morning jog around the neighborhood.. It was the least I can do to clear up everything I went through yesterday.

After taking my time to prepare for my jog, I made sure that my house was locked and the small gate I use to go outside for a jog was locked. I began my lovely jog and a long playlist was set for the exercise. Approximately 2km was the distance I managed to track on. I decided to conclude my exercise for the day and go towards a shop that's next to a well equipped gymnasium. I entered the shop and had a chance to place my order.

While I waited for my smoothie and fruit salad to be ready, Surprisingly I see the man who I drooled about walked in the same shop. This was the moment or the opportunity to see how built this man looked. His tall dark figure goes to the counter for order and then the lady who assists him changes her voice to impress him.

I swear that lady's sudden act got me twisted internally. I watched them in disgust while I see Zain leaning on the counter speaking to her. The lady couldn't stop blushing and looked at Zain's handsome face. Her eyes trailed to his sweaty vest that's clinged to his chest. The sight of all of this annoyed me to a point that I ruined their moment by interjecting.

"Hi Zain, I guess we meet again." I stepped close enough to be by his side while the lady starred at me with dislike. Did I care about her? Absolutely Not.
Zain was glad to see me and greeted me with a hug. It was the first time in a long time I received a good hug from a tall man.

My body melted by his touch in such a way that i try so hard to keep composure. He smiles shortly then asked how was I feeling today.

"I feel so much better today. How about yourself?" I asked. "I am chilled. Larona. So what are you planning to eat now? Ms. Foodie?" he joked. "Haha, I see what u did there." I laughed at his sarcasm. "I've ordered some smoothie and a fruit salad. I wonder how long must I wait for my food to be ready" I said while I shot my eyes back to the lady on the counter.

She rolls her eyes in ignorance of what I've mentioned, and focused her attention to Zain. "Sir, what would you like to have" she asked in an angelic voice. I was taken a back by her petty behavior.

Zain gave her his order and turns to my face. "Why don't we sit somewhere while we wait for our food to be ready?" he suggested. This was the perfect time to school little miss petty on how to be classy in a man's presence. Therefore I nodded Yes to his suggestion and walked in front of his figure. The lady at the counter was bitterly jealous over what just happened.

Zain secretly noticed the cold war between myself and the lady. He let it slide and we were able to have a seat. "how is grandmother doing?" he asked randomly. I shyly laughed and decided to come clean with what he mentioned.
"my grandmother passed away 2 years ago. I am deeply sorry for yesterday once again."

Zain felt guilty about mentioning the word. "Larona I didn't know that and I am sorry for being insensitive."

"it's really okay." I reassured him. "I wonder what your name means." he said with interest. "It's a weird meaning, I don't think you'll want to know." I shyly told him. "Please tell me what means, I'm quite sure it's meaning has an explanation." he earnestly asked.

"It means it's Ours. In my home language. " I answered. "That is a beautiful name. I wonder how much love your parents have to bless you with such an unique name." he said. I could feel my cheeks blushing over what he said. I began to open up about my family background from Limpopo and I've given myself a chance to ask similar questions to him too.

"Well, I come from a small family too. I have a step brother who's name is Omer. We are a blended family. My mom got remarried to an Indian business tycoon who's known as Mr. Idris Baghat. I kept my mom's surname instead of changing it to Baghat. Having my own sense of identity and shy away from the Baghat surname was merely for my peace. " he explained. I nodded in understanding his point of view. Just before I could carry on the conversation, our food was ready for collection.

It definitely did not sit well with me knowing that I will see him by chance only. With a sad realization, I got up from our spot, and I notified him that it's time to collect our food packages. "You seem like an understanding guy. I mean having a conversation with you feels like it's not forced." I complimented. He chuckles in liking my words and thanked me for the kind words.

When we departed our ways. I moved back to my place. I looked over my schedules for Monday since well it's back to school for kids and back to work for me. Being an Educator to the little ones is no joke. At the expense of ensuring good quality education for children to have better learning experience, I still have to plan lessons aligned to the academic year curriculum. While I continue to do preparations for work, my doorbell rang.

I paused from doing my things and headed to open the door. To my surprise, the person who rang the doorbell disappeared but had left a small note on the doormat.
