SIXTY ONE

The drama continued for over two months after Larona gave birth.
Zain received a personal letter at Larona's old place which stated a breakup between them. He was devastated and his sense of purpose in life felt like it was meaningless. Ever since Thandeka and Zain lived together, the ambiance for him was depressing. He blamed himself over his cheating scandals with Thandeka and couldn't be himself again. The worry of not knowing her location as well as realizing that he was not there for her when she needed him, it made him heartbroken that he destroyed his new family over sinful lust.

When Larona successfully moved to her new home that Emelda had bought for her, she still felt upset over this problem. She waited for Emelda to clarify all that is happening. After a couple hours, her maid welcomed Mrs. Baghat inside and notifies Larona that she is here. This gave a chance for them to talk about it.

"How's our angel doing?" Zain's mother spoke. "She's asleep like a beautiful princess." Larona notified Emelda about her daughter. "Mrs. Baghat please tell me what is really going on? Finding out that your son had been cheating during my pregnancy was something that I cannot just get over it. Even though I had a valid reason to end things with him, I still deserve to know what you know about his changed behavior." Larona expressed her complain to Zain's mother.

"My darling, we are in a war. A spiritual war. My son is not himself because of Thandeka." Emelda replied. "Okay, well that I know for sure that it annoys my brain right now. I need to know more than this." Larona responded.

"I understand that this is happening to you so fast that the whole drama is confusing you and hurting you. I need you to be calm first otherwise we will not end this conversation nicely to each other with that tone. Give me a chance to explain and then listen to our way forward." Emelda responded which made Larona to apologize for her part and let Emelda speak.

"There was someone who managed to come over at a family gathering from my house. That person was a spy for Thandeka to find out mysterious news. She was able to report it to her but one of my guards caught her from trying to run away. I knew that something was not right when I addressed that spy. Her name is Ariana, and she is a close friend to Thandeka. You see Larona, you need to get over the fact that you cannot live a normal life anymore when you fall in love with a man who lives a dangerous life."

Larona shut her mouth while seeming concerned about where Emelda's story is leading. The nanny/maid offered the ladies chamomile tea with sugar cubes. Shortly after that, Emelda continued to explain.

"A special team that I've hired did their job and it was reported to me that Thandeka had hired a supposed traditional healer for help. Zakhele practiced witchcraft for Thandeka to draw Zain close to her for them to be married. She has been obsessed with my son since their younger age. The day when she noticed how much Zain truly loves you, jealousy took control over her. Larona, please find it in your heart to forgive Zain's actions. I believe that Thandeka's dark magic on Zain is sinking in his soul as we speak. I need you to fight with me against this problem to save Zain's life. She is a dangerous woman, and her ways cannot be undermined. You need to be smart enough if you want to win this war otherwise you will lose him forever and your daughter won't experience a relationship with her father."

Larona froze as she processes Emelda's information. her mind instantly recalls the day Zain begged her to not take away his right to be a parent to their child. Her emotions sensed the time where she was jealous over seeing Thandeka being Zain's date at the gala. As her emotions resurfaced together with taking Emelda's advice into serious consideration, she calmly looks at Emelda and asked her a question, "Can you organize a gun that won't be tracible for me?"

Larona's question was Emelda's music to her ears. Surprisingly, Emelda started to question Larona before she trusts her capability. "How excellent are you when it comes to using a weapon? Bear in mind that, choosing to fight Thandeka can result life or death. So, are you sure you're ready to face her like that my child?" Larona shows her commitment to address this situation."Mrs. Baghat, please have faith in me. Thandeka and I have unresolved issues therefore, I know exactly who I am dealing with. "

Their meeting concluded with clear motive that they are in partnership. Few days later, Larona went baby shopping at a fancy mall. Unfortunately, She spotted Thandeka approaching to her with Ariana. "Oh Hi Miss Larona!" Thandeka sounded sarcastic. Ariana kept quiet but looked at Larona with dislike.

Larona stood tall while facing these clowns. "I see that you're no longer pregnant so i guess it's congratulations. Mommy." Thandeka spoke. "Thank you Thandeka. So, can you two just get out of my sight before i say something awful?" Larona sternly asked. "Why are you rushing from seeing us though? I wanted to apologize for what happened at the golf course. Zain is a natural player but i see him as a hunter who goes for what his ultimate type is." Thandeka sounded proud. "Oh really? I don't think he is himself if you ask me." Larona back chatted.

Ariana felt awkward from the ladies' interaction. Thandeka understood the hidden hint that Larona verbalized. She steps closer to Larona's face and had this to say, "Bitch, if you don't back off from Zain, we will have a serious problem. I am not the rural girl who fights with hands only okay? Your ghetto ass better tone it down before i show you hell."

Larona dramatically smells Thandeka's scent and had a comeback for Thandeka "Lavender was never his favorite scent that drives him crazy. I find it cute that you think that I will be afraid of you. Calling me a bitch won't scare me off sweety but the next time you disrespect me, I will make an example of how ugly I can turn this around."

"Bring It On. Larona." Thandeka said confidently. Larona smiles at the ladies and left them alone.
