1:23A.M.
I stepped over the broken drums, walking through the messy house thumping with music. My gaze drifted to Tom and Bill, who were rehearsing with everyone pooling around them.
They were destroying their instruments after the song, smashing guitars and basses, breaking everything they could just for shits and giggles. All of them were shitfaced by now, feeding on oxy and coke.
The kitchen was messy with shattered glass and food scattered on the floor, graffiti on the walls, and the smell of fresh paint lingering just to heighten the overwhelming sickness of the alcohol running through my body. I wasn't usually host to sickness, but everybody was.
Being there, fitting in with people I don't know, it was ressurection.
"Can you do it?" I exhaled, sitting beside a guy who was offering me ice. He scoffed but grabbed the tube and wrapped it around my forearm tight. In the corner of my eye, I could see a random girl glaring at me.
I turned my head, watching her walk off.
"You feel all of this energy around you, and it's - like," the guy beside me spoke, his eyes narrowed before he stopped talking. "Bliss." He added finally, pushing the needle into my skin and glancing at me while I rested against the wall, waiting for it to kick in.
It burned.
I knew it was off when I started to tweak. I cradled my head, rocked back and forth, and hugged my knees tight. The guy beside me put his hand on my thigh, rubbing slowly and whispering in my ear.
My eyebrows furrowed as I shrugged off his hand with a whimper, watching two girls approach and start to cuss him out until he retreated. One girl kneeled in front of me, tilting her head. "He's an idiot, sorry about that." She spoke. "Yeah, make sure not to take a drink from him because he probably roofied it."
One smacked her arm, then faced me again. "You in there?" She murmured, clicking her fingers in front of my face until I looked up at her, hazed. They just stared at me.
"...Come on, let's get you upstairs," the other said, helping me up and leading me through the house.
A woman walked by me, leaning down to whisper in my ear before she left.
"You might not make it next time."
"What?" I exhaled, looking over to her. She disappeared once, going down the stairs
My eyebrows furrowed, my head throbbing and full of confusion."Huh?" One of the girls in front of me suddenly said. I looked around, my hand slipping from her grip as I got down on my knees, covering my ears and looking side to side.
"She's tweaking real bad."
"Is her boyfriend around?"
"Mandy," Perrine pulled my hands away from my ears, looking into my dilated eyes. "We've met before, remember? Uhm... Gym class, we skipped together?"
"You're Perrine," I breathed out, my eyes opening for a moment. Oh, my god, there were bugs everywhere. Holy fuck!
"Yeah, that's right. And that's Nora. Are you okay? You look pale..." Perrine said quietly, helping me off of the floor once again as I looked around and backed into someone, spilling their drink onto them. "What the fuck?!" The guy scolded.
There was a two of everything. Bugs were making engravements into my skin, and there was a red, sore needle mark in my skin.
I don't think that guy gave me just normal ice. Was it? Fuck!
"Where's Tom?" I questioned. Perrine and Nora led me downstairs again and into a space where Tom was doing graffiti.
"Oi, Tom," Perrine hollered. Tom turned, his eyes raking over my expression. "What'd she take?" He questioned, putting the spraypaint down and pulling me against his chest.
I could smell so much spray paint against his shirt that could literally be used to huff. I felt like I was gonna pass out. "What'd you take, Mandy?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes at the sight of my huge pupils. "I don't know," I whimpered.
"You might just need to lay down, okay? can you two take her into a room?" Tom looked away to Nora and Perrine as they nodded.

I collapsed onto the bed, my cheek against the pillow as I stared at the wall. Perrine and Nora also dropped down, me in the middle with the two beside me.
"Are you okay now?"
"Yeah." I replied.
Tom gave me a pill. I didn't question it since he told me he took one, too, to make me believe him. I felt relaxed, my eyes half-lidded, and every noise distanced. Like my soul left my body.
"Well, how about something to take your mind off of things?" Nora nodded towards the needle on the bedside table. I let out a miserable wince, grabbed the needle, and undoing my belt. I pulled it around my arm, bit down on the leather, and tightened it.
