TW: Angst, swearing, abuse, mentions of blood, fighting

3rd Person POV

Zerma wipes the blood off his hand, glaring down at Rykten.

"Leave Rykten, you aren't welcome here anymore you dirty traitor."

The red head stands on shaky legs, "Not like I wanted to become a Watcher in the first place. You only have yourself to blame for that."

He narrowly avoids the taller's blade, taking a step back from the older.

"Leave!"

"I'm leaving but you mark my words, I'll be back when you least expect it."

The Watcher laughs, "Please, you lost the only person who would've fought with you ages ago."

Rykten's jaw clenches, glaring up at the Watcher, "You made me a monster, and now you'll get a monster. Bye bitch."

Rykten disappears just as Zerma attacks, the Watcher letting out an annoyed yell. The blaze lets out a breath of relief, looking down at his side as blood seeps through his shirt, blood trickling down his face. He just had to take his armor off, how stupid of him. Moving slowly around the hideout he grabs the first aid kit, slowly getting patched up.

And now he had to find Xelqua, he would help even if Rykten had to pull a few strings and use their deal. He would get Xelqua to help. Taking a deep breath he teleports to Hermitcraft, shaking away the dizzy feeling in his brain, finding the Watcher in his base.

"Just finish a nine to five shift Grian?"

The smile slides right off his face as he sees the blaze, "Rykten, what do you want?"

"Straight to the point like always, I'm here to cash in my favor."

"Gee would've never guessed that, what do you want."

"I need your help with a little...resistance."

"No, I'm not helping you take down the queen."

"It wouldn't be the first resistance you've run Lord Xelqua."

"And that went so well last time."

"You won." His eyes narrow, he's going to have to try harder to convince him.

"That's not the point Rykten." Grian snaps, "I'm not taking the queen off the throne only to put Etho on it. The whole point is to keep him off of it."

He debates his answer, trying not to give too much away, "Who said I would put the prince on the throne?"

"...What are you up to Rykten?"

"I'm just trying to finish what we started old friend."

"Last time I lead a resistance with you I was betrayed," He glares at Rykten, "And almost lost my life."

"And look how it turned out, you got to come here, no?"

"I'm not helping you Rykten."

The Watcher hums, leaning back as a small ball of purple covers his hand, thinking of how he could win the Watcher over. A smirk forming on his face as he glances behind Grian, seeing another player.

"I wonder how the queen would react if she found out you failed to keep the prince safe."

"And I wonder what she'd do after finding out you helped in his kidnapping."

"You'd lose your wings."

"You'd lose your life."

"You'd be stuck with the Watchers, and she'd send someone else to do the job."
