Wedding Bells And Friends?

3rd Person POV

"When Xisuma said you were doing a lot of fishing I didn't think he was serious."

"Dream? What are you doing here?"

"Can't I visit my little brother?"

"I saw you last season."

"Oh hush, George and I are here with mail."

"Hello George."

"Hey Grian, how are you?"

"I'm good, you?"

"I'm good."

Grian smiles softly, "He lives up on that hill if you want to go see him. And yes he wants to see you."

"Dream-"

"Meet me here when you're done."

With a smile George kisses his cheek before leaving the brothers to talk. He anxiously walks up the steps, taking a deep breath before knocking on the door.

"Coming!"

The door opens, the smile falling off Tangos face.

"...George."

"Hi..."

"What are you doing here?" He leans against the doorframe.

"Dream is visiting Grian."

"And why did you come to my house?"

"I well, uhm, I wanted to give you something."

"You did?"

George hands him an envelope, "I know we haven't talked in years but it would mean a lot to me if you came."

Tango opens the envelope, reading the card.

"You're getting married?"

"Yeah, you don't have to come, I know you and Eret aren't exactly speaking..."

"...Can I bring two people?"

The younger eyes light up with joy, "Yes of course! Can you text me? I'm going to end up forgetting."

Tango nods, "Congrats."

"Thank you, I'll uh, see you later then."

"...George."

He stops at the bottom of the stairs, turning to face the blaze, "Yeah?"

"Come in, we have a lot to catch up on."

The brunette smiles, going back up and inside the house.

"You think they'll make up?"

"I do, Tango misses George. I know it."

"You always had a knack for that sort of thing."

"Pesky bird instincts."

"Right well, will I be seeing you and Scar at the wedding?"

"Considering I'm your best man I'd say yes. How did Sapnap take the news of only being a groomsman and not your best man?"

"Not so well although he understands me wanting my brother to be my best man. Scar going to survive not sitting next to you?"

"He'll be fine, he'll end up sitting with Xisuma or Doc and Zedaph."

"Or Tango if he says yes."

"Wasn't George going to ask him to be a groomsman?"

"Well yeah but he'll bring a plus one, right?"

"More like a plus two."

"Oh?"

"Impulse and Zedaph but Zed is already going with Sam and Doc."

"So they did finally get together?"

"Yep but I bet Zedaph will go with Tango and Impulse and Doc will use his plus one on Ren instead."

"Are they together yet?"

"No! Scar and I are going to get them together this season, we already have a plan."

"Didn't you get banned from playing match maker?"

"I did it with Tango, Impulse, and Zed and look how that turned out."

"Rigghht, I should probably go find George, he's been gone a lot longer then I thought he would be."

"Especially if you're heading back today, don't want to travel around here at night. No torches."

"Just like home."

"Dream! I'm back!"

"Speak of the devil, there he is."

"How'd it go?"

"Great! It was so nice to see Tango again and he agreed to not only come to the wedding but to be a groomsman as long as he can bring both Impulse and Zedaph which I don't mind. Especially since Zedaph is Sam's brother, which I forgot to tell you but Sam is bringing both Ponk and Foolish."

"Weren't those two coming anyway?"

"Well yes but those three are going together."

"Right ok."

Grian smiles, "Well it sounds like you two have a lot to do, we'll be there Dream."

"Thanks G, we should head back before it gets dark George."

"Alright, bye Grian."

Grian waves, watching the two leave. 

Arms wrap around Grian's waist, "What's this about a wedding now?"

"Scar! Don't do that!"

"Sorry sorry."

Grian turns to face him, wrapping his arms around him, "Dream invited us to his and George's wedding."

"Awww its about time those two tie the knot."

"I know! And since love is in the air I'm thinking we start our plan of getting Doc and Ren together."

"Sounds like a plan but first." Scar kisses Grian.

The pesky bird smiles, leaning his forehead against Scar's, "I love you."

"I love you too, now lets go!" 

Grian laughs as Scar drags him in the direction of Ren's base.
