Semi has never once gotten over Y/N. It's been years since their breakup in high school, yet he still thinks about her everyday. Despite having not seen her for years. He loves her to this day. And as far as Semi is concerned, he always will love her.
Semi was preparing to go out on stage. His band was scurrying around back stage as Semi positioned his guitar. "Are you ready, Eita?" Semi nodded at his bandmate. They all got in position to go out on stage.
When the name of their band was announced, Semi and the others filed out on stage. The lights were blinding and cheers flooded their ears. The lights were too bright for Semi to make out anyone in the crowd just yet, his eyes hadn't adjusted. Semi looked at the lead singer and nodded.
Semi struck a harsh chord as the lead singer approached the microphone. "How's everyone doing tonight?" His bandmate continued to greet the audience as Semi played a soft tune.
Semi's mind drifted to Y/N again. As it did at every show. He longed to look out at the crowd and to finally see her lovely face again. What does she look like now? How has she changed? Semi wanted to see her again.
Semi closed his eyes. Allowing himself to get lost in the music and for the thoughts of Y/N to fade away. They were playing one of his favorite numbers and he wanted to enjoy it. Semi played his guitar effortlessly as he moved around stage.
On cue, Semi settled in front of a microphone. He stopped playing and his eyes closed. Semi lost himself in the music again. It was his favorite bridge in the song and it was his to sing.
Semi's eyes finally opened and they scanned over the audience. Then they settled on something. No, someone. A familiar face standing in front of one of the barricades blocking the stage. Her familiar features warmed his heart. There she was. Y/N, singing and dancing in the crowd with a goofy grin as she stared back at him.
Semi felt his heart stop. An overjoyed smile took over his face. She was there. Y/N was really there. Semi couldn't wipe the smile off his face. As his series of verses ended, Semi let go of the microphone stand. He flawlessly switched back to his guitar while taking a step back.
The show continued for another two hours. Semi couldn't help but continuously steal glances at Y/N throughout the entire show. The show continued song after song but neither Semi nor Y/N ever lost their smiles. Semi's wish had come true.
As Semi's band filed off stage, Semi stole one last glance at Y/N. "She came!" Semi announced to the band backstage.
"What?" One of his bandmates asked.
"She came!" Semi repeated with the same level of enthusiasm.
The lead vocalist looked at Semi with wide eyes. "Your ex?"
Semi nodded. He had never been so excited to do a meet and greet. Which they just so happened to have scheduled now. Once they all changed, they are supposed to go back out there and meet their fans. Semi couldn't wait. He couldn't wait to go back out there and see Y/N. If she stayed that is.
"That's great and all Eita, but do you even know if she feels the same way? It's been years dude. She may have moved on. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk. I just don't want you to get your hopes up."
As much as Semi didn't want to think about the possibility of Y/N moving on, he appreciated his friend's concern. He made a valid point. Who knows how Y/N feels about Semi? She may have just came to support someone she used to care deeply for.
As Semi and his band made their way to the meet and greet area, they were surprised to see the length of the line. Semi felt conflicted by it. He felt honored and grateful for having so many fans. But he also felt disappointed that he wouldn't really be able to have any private time with Y/N.
As the band made their way through the line, signing autographs, taking photos and chatting with their fans, Semi began to loose hope. It had been almost an hour and he hadn't seen any sign of Y/N. That was until a voice addressed him directly.
"Semi-Semi!" A familiar voice called out. Semi knew that voice. It belonged to his former teammate, the Guess Monster Tendo Satori. Semi looked up from the table to see that Tendo was the next in line.
The tall red head waved enthusiastically. His former long red hair was replaced with a buzz cut. Next to him stood another shocking figure, Ushijima.
"Hey guys." Semi greeted in shock. He watched the pair approach the table with wide eyes.
Tendo grinned wickedly. "We brought you a surprise!" The tall red head stepped to the side revealing Y/N who had been standing behind them. Semi shot up from the table like a rocket.
"Y/N!" Y/N smiled softly at her ex boyfriend. She looked surprisingly shy and her face flushed the moment she saw Semi.
Semi rushed around the table and pulled Y/N into a tight hug. Her familiar frame still fit perfectly in his arms. Semi squeezed her tight, burying his face in her neck. "I've missed you so much."
Y/N hugged him back, burying her face into Semi's chest. "I've missed you too Eita." Her voice was soft and gentle. In Semi's opinion, it was the most perfect sound. A sound that he had missed dearly.
Ushijima stiffened uncomfortably as he looked around. "People are taking pictures." He announced.
"Let them. I don't care." Semi said back. And he truly didn't. He was just overjoyed to finally have Y/N back in his arms. He would never let her slip away again.
Y/N struggled in Semi's grip, trying to push him away. "But your career!" Y/N protested. Semi just squeezed her tighter.
"I don't care about that right now. I love you Y/N and I don't care who knows it. I've always loved you and I will always love you." Y/N melted at his words. She stopped struggling and hugged Semi back.
"I love you Eita. I never stopped loving you." Y/N mumbled into his chest.
