"Horror tunnel kaya tayo?"
We met up with my grandparents a few minutes ago. Ang sabi nila ay mamaya pa raw sila uuwi dahil gusto pa nilang mag-ikot kaya inaya ko si Leandro na mag-horror tunnel.
It's a new installation yata? I wanna try it.
"Are you sure?"
I nodded. "Hindi naman ako takot... ikaw ba?"
He shook his head. "Hindi rin."
"Then let's go," I held his hand and dragged him inside the horror house. Medyo malamig 'yung kamay niya... baka dahil sa lamig kasi pagabi na.
Nagbayad muna ako sa entrance fee tsaka kami tuluyang nakapasok.
"Ready?"
"Why wouldn't I be ready?"
I couldn't tell if he's nervous or not.
Mild lang naman siya sa una, wala man lang nanakot sa amin kaya kampante lang ako.
Nag-o-on and off 'yung lights and ang eerie talaga ng feeling, typical na horror tunnel nga naman.
We were holding hands the whole time as if he didn't want to ever let me go or let me out of his sight.
"Boo!"
"Shit!"
I laughed when he squeezed my hand. He was completely scared.
Even in the darkness, I could feel his sharp glare at me. I couldn't stop myself from laughing.
Suddenly, we both saw a white figure beside him with a scary face. It was holding a knife and it was aiming right at us.
"Fuck!" we both exclaimed and ran for our lives. Hinabol pa kasi kami ng tanginang 'yon!
There were fake bats and cobwebs everywhere. Muntik pa siyang matisod. Tawang-tawa ako kahit parehas kaming hinihingal. We decided to stop for a bit.
"I thought you weren't scared at all?"
"I'm also a human being, Estrella."
"Right, sorry." I then covered my mouth, still giggling.
He rolled his eyes.
This sassy man!
Muli kaming naglakad.
Parang ang endless naman ng tunnel na ito?
Rinig na rinig ang sigawan ng mga tao, it echoed. May ibang routes pa kasi kaya malilito ka talaga kung nasaan 'yung exit.
Infairness, malakas ang aircon sa loob kaya mas nakakapanindig balahibo talaga. Pwede kang tumambay dito para magpalamig kung hindi ka matatakutin, syempre.
May biglang kumalabit sa akin.
"Don't play games with me, asshole."
"Huh?"
"Kanina mo pa ako kinakalabit!" inis kong tugon sa kaniya but he seemed genuinely confused.
