"Oh? Aga mo ah?"

Hindi ko napansin si Dahlia na sumabay sa paglalakad sa akin dahil nakatingin ako sa isang direksyon, it was Santi, Leandro's friend. Nakatukod lang ang kaniyang siko sa railings at para bang may hinihintay na lumabas sa isa sa mga rooms.

"Oh, morning." I greeted her when I came back to my senses.

"Pre-occupied?"

"Pretty much." I shrugged.

"Yaan mo, three months nalang naman and we are one step ahead to reaching our dreams." Tumalon pa siya at umaktong may inaabot sa ere. I smiled at her but I couldn't hide the feeling of disappointment in myself.

All of my dreams came crashing down after I learned about my illness. It's like a tornado that swiftly blew away my dream of becoming a lawyer.

Pala-isipan ko 'yon hanggang sa makarating kami ng classroom.

I couldn't even focus in class since I can't stop thinking about Leandro. Tatlong buwan nalang... ikakasal na sana kami.

And for sure, one of these days our parents will contact us to talk about the wedding preparations.

I can't even bring myself to break off the engagement. But it's the right thing for the both of us... isn't it?

"Oh, hindi na nga..." She just brushed her hair using her fingertips.

"What happened, girl? You don't look fine so don't ever say you're okay. We are here for you..."

Mas lalo akong naiyak. Everything was just too much for me. Hindi ko na alam kung ano ang gagawin ko.

It was for the best, so, I told them everything kaya kaming tatlo na ngayon ang nag-iyakan sa rooftop.

"My baby... bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?" hagulhol ni Riva.

"I respect your decision, it's really not easy to bring this up... so, thank you for telling us. You're so brave..." Vionne hugged me tight.

"I'm at loss of words but I really wanna give you too a hug right now! I can't lose you, Bri! Fudge, the three of us would go insane!" Tumabi si Vionne at si Dahlia naman ang yumakap sa akin ngayon, halos hindi na ako makahinga sa sobrang higpit.

Riva pulled her away.

"Does he know about this?" she seriously asked.
