Growth:
'Tis a beautiful word,
known as and for
signifying increment
and change.
But growth
'tis not just a simple word,
for it holds such depth
and its meaning,
multidimensional.
You grow
when you undergo
physical changes.
You grow up
when your mind
and emotions
mature.
As you grow and grow up,
your old self grows out,
and you grow out
of your bad habits.
And as you grow and grow up,
you begin to grow on
different things,
different individuals.
But as you grow and grow up,
you also grow apart
and grow away from
certain people
in your past.
'Tis always good for you
when you grow and grow up;
but never forget those
who helped you grow
whom you may start
to grow apart
and away from,
without you
realising.
Grow,
and grow up!
But know that,
every plant and animal
that grow from earth
go back to earth
when they come
full circle.
