There are times
when words overflow,
There are times
when they are too shallow.
Overflowing words
spoken in glee
though meant well
it might hurt thee.
Yet when shallow words
also hurt thee
meant only as joke
but 'twas taken seriously.
Then it is time to keep a distance,
and wrap myself in silence.
